This is superb, the 9V motors provide amazing power, wow! The part where the train was stopped at maximum gradient on the bridge and just took off again like it was nothing was incredible. This is how all Lego high speed trains should run
I got two sets. It's a heavy train and needs two motors at least. I have 9V and put two motors into it. Works perfectly! Reminds me that I need more 9V motors as back up and my ICE train. :)
Great footage of a great train. But I ask the LEGO Group- It has been 7 years since the Horizon Express was released & LEGO Train lovers are still waiting for the next Creator Expert train...😡

+luckyfan Isaac I think it isn't, because those electric 9V make that epic sound, and it goes so fast that Doppler-effect isn't impossible. It sounds glorious indeed :D

To go so fast we increase the voltage. But beware if too much increase the motors burn ... The track is also a special construction. See : www.freelug.org/spip.php?article1220 www.freelug.org/spip.php?article1719
Most likely bumped the voltage up higher than 9v to maybe 24v or what ever voltage without frying the puny motors. Or it could be this and modified motors inside to. (If is it, it is most likely going to be 12v or 24v DC motors inside if they are modified.) It is like overclocking but with a lego train motor until it becomes overpowered. Also the power supply has to be different to deliver the current for more power too.
Correction they are non-modified 9v motors with using 20v - 30v dc. I honestly thought 30v would fry the motor easily. Well it could burn the motor if on too long.
How fast do you think a steam locomotive( emerald night or MOCs) could go on this track on 9 v over opted like this is? That would have to be pretty fast, don't you think

May it bring you joy for many more years to come :)
Same I still have mine doubled on display
Those full speed close-ups sound brutal.
Wooooooow that speed was incredible for a Lego train like this one.
Nice sound of the train running on the tracks.

Don't ya worry I'm 41 and I'm much more happy 😊.

Now that is one fast train on a train set. I've never seen one that fast before. I wish all high-speed trains were that fast, lol 😅😜.
Quoi ?
De toute façon rien à dire le TGV français c'est une réussite et sa vitesse incroyable (Lego et réalité)

holly crap that is longest train for tht set and that city is awsome
This has to be a new world record: Fastest LEGO train!
I tried to do the bank around the turns like on those rails. I just put a 2x2 brick under the rail. Works pretty good.
