Top man! My fav car channel on here, you’ll be at 50k in no time 👍
Wow, I’m taking that! Thank you! 🙏
Great review, Jim! Neat little motor. Maybe a tad expensive at that top spec level, but I do love that supercar esque colour! On the Dual carriage way it was quite noticeable how much noisier it is inside the cabin than some of the other cars you've reviewed recently. You're looking well mate 👍🏼
I’m looking fat 😂👍
@@DefinitelyNotAGuru 😆 Well I thought you were looking well 👍🏼
Is this color more to the green or the yellow?
Green, very bright green with a hint of yellow
What a balanced and pleasant review; many thanks!
Thanks Cliff
My partner has an i20N, bought new for £25K one year ago. It is a pity that the face lifted model does not have a N variant as it was a wonderful throwback hot hatch.
👍 I think the N will come very soon
Excellent review. Very smart. I have a Hyundai DCT, and it's absolutely brilliant.
👍👍👍
@@DefinitelyNotAGuru Do you think this is a genuine competitor for the VW Polo? (Hard plastics notwithstanding).
I do t think they’re actually competition to each other as they will both appeal to very different audiences. A Polo is not exactly the lap of luxury by the way 😄👍
@@DefinitelyNotAGuru No, I've been in one recently (a Polo) and it was surprisingly rough.
Great review, nice little car with a good mpg.
I did a long run in it on the day after this and got over 50mpg.
What about it's economy? How much mpg does it get?
I got around 48-50 from it
Thanks Jimbo great review as usual but at £26 grand I think a lease will be better than an outright purchase👍
👍👍
Excellent review 👍
Thanks! 👍
👍👍👍. Thanks Jim
Thanks mate 👍
Great report Jim. I have a Hyundai at the moment and would stay with them or Kia if I wanted to change. Prefer South Korean cars to Chinese personally.
Korean cars have never been better in my opinion. It’s amazing how they’ve come on in such a relatively short period of time.
Nice review! I'm supposed to be taking delivery of one in a few weeks - quick question if you know - does it have roof rail mount points, or are the gutters just purely for drainage?
I don’t know
@@DefinitelyNotAGuru no worries, you're not the first reviewer i've asked who didn't look haha, not the most important part of the car I know.
Will be interesting to see how well this size of EV sells when they finally start making them after the trickle down from large premium to small cheap finally happens
👍👍
0:18 0:22 Since getting a car with auto parking brake, have become a convert. No manual handbrakes for me in future.
Car looks good in acid green.
Only thing don't like look of is bonnet. Think cars look weird when bonnet doesn't go down to grille.
Sounded like a lot of road/wind noise on your motorway run.
👍 noise was ok for a small car
Did you say £26 grand ???? surely about £16-18k worth. And they complain about EV cars? Surely a 1 year old Kona with 10k on the clock is a far better deal at £15k?
I get your point but look at the price of a new Kona. Lease new, buy used.
Brillant car like all Hyundai's
👍👍
Dont we get a better driving experience in electric cars, than these turbo engines which are prone to give less mileage due to knocking etc ? Aren't series hybrids even better if you worry about range anxiety in electrics? Even the DCT on these cars are sometimes slow to respond in certain speeds.
This is a great little car
My 2022 Hyundai i10 had wireless Android auto @ £16000
👍
😊
👍
But you didn't tell us about the Satanist Pentagram design Alloy Wheels?
Sorry, I was too busy sacrificing a goat to the dark overlord.

👏👏👏
People have got to be bonkers to pay £26k for a crappy small ice car. Can get a brand new ec4 / ec4x for £20k new. People really need to do some research. Evs only way forwards.

Wise words.
As an owner of a new i20 I am more than happy with my 'crappy small ice car'.
And an EC-4/EC-4X for £20k new?
Hyundai interiors are dreadful . Cheap and nasty . Take the vw polo everyday of the week.
polo are shit to maintain and made to brake and honostly the interior is finer than some bmw....especially at the same spec.... you are just a brand whore and driving a hyundai is still looked at being cheap but polos are cheap also and nasty....
I disagree with that generalism
Completely untrue. Yes the Polo feels a bit more premium inside, but that's the priority of that particular manufacturer. I'd take the reliability of the Hyundai, and the quality of the engineered components first. VAG are currently producing some of the most unreliable and poorly engineered motors available.
@@cliffwilkins9178 In 5 years time see how much your Hyundai has depreciated compared to the Polo .
@@vimtocrazy739 Offset by the additional initial purchase price, cheaper maintenance, fewer breakdowns etc. And of course your intentions when buying are relevant. How long you'll keep it etc. The i20 is likely to be bought one of us sensible old farts, and is likely to be kept for much longer than the average Polo owner keeps their car from new. I find it very interesting that so few hire companies in Europe now run VW's. My personal experience with VW taints my opinion I guess, I ran two Amaroks commercially for 2 years until we could stand their quality issues and faults no more; replaced by a Ssangyong and a Toyota. No faults after 3 years with either (touch wood)!
Looks good 🎉😮😂❤
