I will update from S22+ to S25+ Icy Blue thanks to the renewal of my phone plan. I wanted the base model at first, but I refuse to get a 4000mph battery phone because it just won't do with my daily usage despite the chipset and stuff (and also I think I got used to a larger display). The S25+ is closer to S25 Ultra in terms of performance from what I've seen so far which is good because I plan to keep this phone for more than 4 years.
@ggduzzit Yes, I recommend it. I haven't tried it yet; I'm still waiting to receive it. However, I compared the S25 Plus and the Ultra, and they are similar in almost everything. Also, Samsung is currently offering the 512GB version at the same price as the 256GB version.

I definitely notice the more vibrant colors on the base and Plus models of the phone compared to the Ultra (the Ultra's colors are more muted, and you kinda have to get a case to make the phone vibrant).

Prove me wrong, I had both the s25 ultra and plus in hand. The s25 plus looks so much more premium and feels so much better than the ultra. The ultra still is a big hunk of metal that's uncomfortable in the hand but ofc you get the s pen, and crazy camera. otherwise the battery life between s25 plus and ultra is the same? technically the screen on the s25 plus is even better due to the higher pixel density! and the anti glare coating won't help much after you applied a screen protector on the s25 ultra that isn't also an anti glare screen protector!

I been thinking about trading my s24U at some point in the year for the s25U but I am debating it because they are giving you 900$ credit and the phone is still like 1600$ which means even with a trade in your still paying for 50% of its value which brings the question if it's even work paying 500 600$ for a new phone.

No, 1080p even on a 6.2inch screen does not make sense in 2025 for a flagship phone. Samsung is going backwards. Samsung phones from several years ago with the same screen size had QHD screens. Do UA-camrs have to try to justify anti-consumer decisions like this so they can keep getting early review units?
I agree 100%. I cannot believe all of these UA-camrs that are saying 1080p is just fine. There are people that say no one will ever see the difference on a screen of this size, but you have to remember there are also people that state they can't discern a difference between 60 Hertz and 120 Hertz. I myself can absolutely see a difference versus 1440p. It also makes me feel like I'm getting a budget phone when it comes with a 1080p display.
Google Pixel 9 and iphone 15/16 pro have a very similar resolution. Remember that 120 hz didn't esist before, i think qhd+ and 120hz combined on a small phone would drain a lot more battery and cause higher temps for a very little visibile improvement
Can you make a video comparing s25 plus to the ultra. I think most people will try to buy those if they single out the s25 due to its various disadvantages
