What differentiates between Virat and Rohit, the white ball captain, is Rohit's team has better chances of winning a tournament than Virat. The reason why I say it is Rohit is a better guy in terms of creating a secure atmosphere in the change room as compared to Virat. Rohit tries to talk to every individual and give role clarity. Virat somehow failed to do that. Further, Rohit is tactically more sound that Virat in white ball format. Virat had that tendency to get carried away when things didn't go his way and in that aspect Rohit is better. Rohit as a captain won Asia cup in 2018 and 2023 whereas Virat failed to do in 2014.
