I was there too, my 21st birthday. The night before and this show were a package worthy of release IMO. Maybe one day in the hopefully not-too-distant future...
Aww yeah..I talked about this jam for decades..had the show wrong as I thought it was the Polaris show, thanks for the post..Def a unique Slave, they dont make'em like this anymore
I was at this show. I remember leaving saying, “that Slave will stay with me forever”. Precious “it” factor as a young man.

This is truly one of the best Phish segues. Completely seamless out of Ghost into Slave. Kinda sneaks up on you.
Anson Burtch not better than the gorge rnr meatstick boogie on tho...but good!
best traffic ive ever been stuck in 4sho
20 years later that slave will always be with me also bro. The best one ever.

I’ve been lucky too see some tremendous Slaves. This one was by far my favorite. One my favorite sets from any show I’ve been too.
This is one of the best Slaves out there. The ghost is nothing to write home about, but the segue is flawless.
Thanks for the supply of 99 jams
FZappa20 No...THANK YOU
What was your first show?
This is really just such an amazing piece
I remember this. Oh to be 22 years old again with a head fulla mdma and sillyscybin haha
What Trey goes into at the end of Slave is absolutely insane. Its like I don't have any idea how he's doing that...
Yes, that was some kind of slight of hand, double guru move
He just looped a lick on his Boomerang loop pedal and played in on a loop over what he played next. He does it all the time in jams.
Great early Ghost, amazing Slave, so introspective thx for sharing
“I feel I never told you, the story of the traffic light”
Pure beauty....
Anyone else hear Scarlet Begonias (almost) in that segue?
1st ghost 1st slave 1st show the day before.
im down for whatever,I l.ove phish
Joseph Moore great attitude. Very refreshing compared to all the comparisons.
My iphone died mid ghost bliss. I'm thankful for this upload!
Easy there H. G. Wells. You owned an iphone in 1999??
I was going to say the same thing mark. No iPhones in 1999. Don’t be a poser Ben.

Chris Lang yes!! The sky was lit the F up!
Not the best but very good possibly top10 imo....i just love this band!
