Can i use the dynamic mic input to connect on mixer instead of connecting it via background music? I dont want to record the background music since I am going to record multi track in a 3rd party app named bandlab. Is it possible?

It does happen to me sometimes. I just have to disconnect them reconnect the USB to the laptop. If it still does not recognize the v8, I suggest use a different micro usb to usb type A.

If you can see a camera on your laptop, after you turn on your laptop there should be something that says Search- then type camera then press enter- it will show the camera of your laptop. Or you can connect a webcam

In this specific video the short song clip was recorded to the laptop as mp4 then I had export it to my phone which I used to record the video as I used another phone to edit my video. I used kinemaster for editing. I added the video recorded from the laptop as a layer.

Yes I used the webcam from the laptop to record the sample karaoke song. I only know the basics in audacity. I have not used it yet coz more steps to edits. Mine is the shortcuts using kinemaster. For sure songs edited from audacity would sounds great. Mine are almost raw audio as kinemaster don’t have lots pf options to edit audio. Most of the time I only use my phone for recording karaoke audio video.
You don’t need a mixer. You just need the right cable to connect to your phone or laptop to record/stream. If you have an iRig stream that would be great

Yes you can. Once a mixer is connected to a sound card then to laptop, it should pick up all the audio coming from the mixer which includes microphones, guitar, etc. God willing I will make a video for you.

Ok, I got V8 3 days ago. Having some issues with it. But one thing I wanna ask you. I'm using Boya MM1 (Cardioid mic). I can hear the change in Trebble and Bass in my Monitor/Headphones, but both are not being recorded. Whenever I heard the recording, there is not Trebble or Bass effect, although, these were visible in my Monitor/Headphones. I have tried all options, including the recording via BT in my cell phone, and via USB on my laptop, + using the Live connections, but no Trebble or Bass are coming in the recording. Do you have any idea about this? Or I may have to return it back... Thanks a bunch for all your efforts...
If I choose to use a dynamic mic (XLR) into the mixer, does the RCA from the mixer have to go to the 1/4 inch dynamic port on the V8? Would it matter if I went RCA to condenser 1/8 port on the V8 since I'm not plugging the mic directly into it? Thank you.
There are lots of ways to connect mixer to V8 using different cords and ports from the sound card. It does not matter if you use dynamic or condenser mic as they are plugged in into the mixer. So in this video I have connected from headphone port of the mixer to the backing track of the v8 sound card. You can also use an Rca phono connected to Rec out port of the mixer then other end 3.5mm connected to the condenser mic port or 1/8” of the of the sound card- like this ua-cam.com/video/14dVPtLKvH0/v-deo.html. I also have tried and it works when I connected y cable - 1/4”TS (red & black or yellow) connected to the stereo out of the mixer then the other end is 1/4 TS” connected to the dynamic or 1/4” port of the v8 sound card.

Using a computer you can use OBS. Sorry I don't know yet the set ep using a mobile going live on you tube plus camera. You might have to use specific app for that

I noticed your Mic (coming from the external Yamaha mixer connected to V8 through "Backing Track") includes Echo/reverb. Is that correct? Some V8 hardware only provides Echo/Reverb effects from the "Condenser Mic" and "Dynamic Mic" inputs of the V8. Just wondering. Thanks for the vid!
Correct. In this set up, Echo and reverb are coming from the mixer which is for me more cleaner sounds than being connected to the condenser or dynamic input of V8. I also posted few videos being connected to the condenser and dynamic mic input of V8.

Thank you for sharing the tutorial. I would record background music playing from computer also with saxophone via Yamaha F4 BT mixer integrated with OBS live streaming, and the background music are recorded sucessfully. However, there's no signal detected from channel 1 for microphone on mixer, I presume that channel 1 is not workable. Instead, I use audio interface(Yamaha Steinburg UR22C) connect with Mixer, and put the dynamic microphone to the MIC 1 on the UR22C. Finally, both saxophone and background music are recorded sucessfully. Here are my questions listed as below: 1.Can mixer play itself standalone on live streaming? or do we need connect with sound card? 2.Do I need an Amplifier equitment for Microphone on mixer? otherwise, there's no sound to output, just like mentioned above example. I found that channel 3/4 is able to control but channel 1 is still unworkable.
Wow you are very knowledgeable on it. Thanks for the info. Yes mixer alone can be use for live streaming as I tested it. If you are using a condenser mic, I think it should be good without an amplifier. Mixer connected to sound card is good as can use the sound effects from the sound card.
When you buy a sound card normally it comes with a micro usb to usb. Connect the micro usb to the charging input of the sound card and the usb to laptop or to a block or a portable charger to charge. About 2 hours to charge

Hello! Thank you for your video. I would like to ask if it's also okay to have this same setup, but plugging a bass guitar instead, and recording it by using any DAW of choice. I'm using FL Studio 20. I currently don't have a bass amp and so I've been recording it directly from the mixer then to a simple plug-and-play USB sound card-the cheap little square ones. The sound card had done a good job, not until it broke recently, and so I'm thinking of getting a V8. It seems like V8 has better features, and it gave me a first impression that it could also for heavy-duty recordings, but I'm worried if it couldn't handle bass frequencies, and whether bass guitar could also be compatible with the V8 or not. Looking forward for your response! Thanks in advance.
First of all I cannot guarantee if V8 can handle heavy duty recordings as I have not done it. In my opinion if V8 is compatible with guitar, so as the bass guitar. You should give it a try anyway V8 sound card for some seller is now cheaper than last year in amazon.

Yes you can but you would have to lower the volume either from your guitar or sound card. Do a test before you record

I noticed your Mic (coming from the external Yamaha mixer connected to V8 through "Backing Track") includes Echo/reverb. Is that correct?
Some V8 hardware only provides Echo/Reverb effects from the "Condenser Mic" and "Dynamic Mic" inputs of the V8.

Correct. In this set up, Echo and reverb are coming from the mixer which is for me more cleaner sounds than being connected to the condenser or dynamic input of V8. I also posted few videos being connected to the condenser and dynamic mic input of V8.

Meron po kasi akong MG06x Tpos focusrite itrack solo Tpos gamit ko Lang is my iPhone for words and another iphone for recording .
So far wala pa po akong focusrite. Bale ang magiging set up po is Mixer to sound card then to iphone sa pagrecord. Mic nyo po syempre nakaconnect sa mixer. Then yong gadget as minus one pwede iconnect sa 3/4 pr 5/6 from the mixer or pwede ring direct connect sa sound card using bluetooth or using the cable connected sa background music. From the mixer- phones or stereo out to condenser mic port ng sound card. Finally live 1 or 2 from the sound card for recording. Good luck po😊

I would record background music playing from computer also with saxophone via Yamaha F4 BT mixer integrated with OBS live streaming,
and the background music are recorded sucessfully.
However, there's no signal detected from channel 1 for microphone on mixer, I presume that channel 1 is not workable.
Instead, I use audio interface(Yamaha Steinburg UR22C) connect with Mixer, and put the dynamic microphone to the MIC 1 on the UR22C.
Finally, both saxophone and background music are recorded sucessfully.
Here are my questions listed as below:
1.Can mixer play itself standalone on live streaming? or do we need connect with sound card?
2.Do I need an Amplifier equitment for Microphone on mixer? otherwise, there's no sound to output, just like mentioned above example.
I found that channel 3/4 is able to control but channel 1 is still unworkable.
Wow you are very knowledgeable on it. Thanks for the info. Yes mixer alone can be use for live streaming as I tested it. If you are using a condenser mic, I think it should be good without an amplifier. Mixer connected to sound card is good as can use the sound effects from the sound card.

When you buy a sound card normally it comes with a micro usb to usb. Connect the micro usb to the charging input of the sound card and the usb to laptop or to a block or a portable charger to charge. About 2 hours to charge

I would like to ask if it's also okay to have this same setup, but plugging a bass guitar instead, and recording it by using any DAW of choice. I'm using FL Studio 20.
I currently don't have a bass amp and so I've been recording it directly from the mixer then to a simple plug-and-play USB sound card-the cheap little square ones. The sound card had done a good job, not until it broke recently, and so I'm thinking of getting a V8. It seems like V8 has better features, and it gave me a first impression that it could also for heavy-duty recordings, but I'm worried if it couldn't handle bass frequencies, and whether bass guitar could also be compatible with the V8 or not.

First of all I cannot guarantee if V8 can handle heavy duty recordings as I have not done it. In my opinion if V8 is compatible with guitar, so as the bass guitar. You should give it a try anyway V8 sound card for some seller is now cheaper than last year in amazon.
