I have been managed by Adam Krasner since 2016, it is my second longest running and one of my most significant relationships since I moved to LA. I feel immensely lucky to have the relationship we share and in this video we discuss the highs and lows of our work relationship and the resilience of the friendship and mutual respect we have built. Whether you have a manager or are interested in developing a friendship with someone you work with, I hope this video provides some illuminating points for you.

yes trying to do a mix of modelling intimate conversations and sharing theories/ information in more educational vids. Overall this year as a WHOLE has been a process of discovery and exploration and I'm INSANELY grateful for the year long partnership I had gotten with Squarespace that gives me the flexibility to try new things without having to obsess over views and the accountability to make things consistently. It does! There a a couple of thought starters that I got from this video. The first is the Issa Rae concept you introduced, "the power of parallel networking." That's always been scary for me because I tend to run into people that I teach more than I receive from. I'm thinking two thoughts: am i going into those relationships as teachable and how can i better position myself to meet people at my level? This is off the observation that you and Adam both come off on the same frequency in different tunes. The second thought starter is that the patterns of my life have shown me time and time again that I should be more public facing. I avoid it like the plague but it is a gift I've been given. I wonder what success I could have and if i could meet the demand for the impact my community wants from me if i positioned myself more public facing.. anyway, great video!

Off Topic > But is it possible to get a "HOME TOUR" at least of this back yard area? I noticed that in some videos the doors are open? Was that custom made or did the home come like that? I would ❤💖🫀 to have an 'indoor-outdoor" area for my home. And I really think this layout would be nice to have. Also, it kinda looks like the home is facing a natural forest preserve or a Green belt (Im in Texas; so this is common). Also, was the home design done on an Application (that is downloadable) or through a specific company in the California area? 👀
I would LOVE to it's just that we moved into the house in October 2020 and Ryu came November so while we did lots of work on the house to make it functional in terms of interior design especially in our living space it's not together. But maybe for our work space! Jared just redid his office and is really proud of it
Shan, you're a role model for me too And i'm trying to put it into words. Overall , I believe the "sky is the limit" when it comes to success. Achieving it involves quick choices that are f'ing frightening imo! B/c 1) i dont know WHAT i dont know. And 2) idk who is trustworthy. But Shan, you share examples of how the life experiences of black women abet success. As opposed to being a marker for my eventual failure. ❤

no I don't think everyone does just like I don't think everyone is interested in Nipplegasms. However I DO THINK that there are many people who want to pursue this industry and having insight into what relationships help give you a strong foundation is helpful, I actually do a mentorship series with National Coalition for Sexual Health and I brought Adam in to talk to my mentees and they all really enjoyed it. And I also do think that showcasing conflict management in different kinds of intimate relationships (e.g. the friendship video I did a couple months back) can be valuable. But definitely not expecting this to go viral or "get me more views." TLDR sorry this didn't appeal to you, hopefully some other content I've been making does or will. Best
