Wow, the depth into which this case is looked especially with dimension limits of parts such as the PSU is so helpful! Thank you so much!!
It’s crazy how good this channel is and I haven’t heard of it. Really good stuff!
Yeah I just bought this case earlier today and I'm so glad I came across this video to help visualize my new build.
I never comment on videos like these, but I gotta say: this was VERY insightful! Awesome review. I often leave a video like this with unanswered questions but everything I needed was showed and demonstrated.
Thank you!! 😄
Thanks for the review. I don't see many for this specific case, and you did a great job with the data and I would just like to help affirm your conclusions.
I moved to this case from an NZXT S340, which had horrible airflow. I have the following components:
8700k - 5ghz (delidded) 1.38v
Deep Cool Assassin III Cooler
Gigabyte Z370 Aorus Gaming 5
4x8GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200
ASUS TUF RTX 3080 OC
Seasonic Focus Plus Gold 850w
1TB Intel 660P
1TB ADATA SX8200
2TB Seagate Barracuda Hard Drive
As for cooling, I am using 6 Deepcool RF120 RGB 120mm fans. One is situated as exhaust in the rear, two are situation as exhaust to the top, and 3 are situation as intakes in the front.
I have them set up in normal PWM in the BIOS, and it is pretty quiet during operation.
During a heavy CPU/GPU synthetic workload such as ASUS RealBench, CPU temperatures do not surpass 75c. GPU core does not surpass 67c and the memory stays under 85.
In the NZXT S340, I had the same setup except for the cooler - it was a Cryorig H7 Quad Lumi. Previously, I was using an AMD 5700XT, which did not generate that much heat, but the new RTX 3080 really increased CPU temperatures. I had 2x140mm intakes, a 120mm rear exhaust, and a 120mm top exhaust. But they could not tame the GPU temperature (72c core, 95c memory) nor could the smaller cooler sustain the overclock in addition to the GPU exhaust heat (95c in same test above).
So I upgraded the case, fans, and cooler. Result is - this is a great case. 75c CPU temps and 67c GPU temps under load, and in gaming CPU probably only hits around 65 max. GPU stays around the same.
Again thank you for your review, and I wanted to let other people know your results are accurate. This is a great case.
Thanks for the review, you are very well spoken.
Just ordered this case and will put a R5 3600, Hyperx Fury 2x16GB 3200Mhz, Asus 1070 Strix, Gigabite Aorus elite v2, Corsair 750w RMx (white) and Corsair MP510 960GB in it. When prices settle I will swap for 5000 series CPU and 3000 series GPU.
I have a spare fan as well and will install it on top thanks to the info you provided!
Do you still use the fans that come with the case? And are they good? And do they make a lot of sound?
@@loebix845 Yes! I still use 3 of them that came with the case. They are really quiet in my opinion, my Ryzen 5 3600 stock cooler is way louder. I even set the stock case fans to work with a little higher RPM than default
@@retroB if you can, use another CPU cooler instead of the stock cooler for R5 3600, stock cooler is not very good for it and even a cheap tower cooler with 4 heatpipes will net you many degrees lower, I saw a guy on UA-cam getting 20C lower on some occasions
You should remind more to subscribe, even with a little graphic on the video, i did not know u had just 1000 subs, but the quality is like 300k at least, good job.
You’re the only person I’ve found that tells how big of a gpu you can fit in the case i needed that so much my gpu I have is 300 millimeters (msi ventus 3x 3060) and my old case was too small for it
1:00 the length is actually 45.7 (pushing my anime glasses with white reflection up)
I have the 275r version with only one 120mm front panel fan, and plan to add additional fans in front and top of the case to maximize airflow and better cooling. Cheers to this video for the good review.
Keep it up dude! you'll be at 1M subs in no time.. you're growing because you're realistic and do great reviews!
Great review. The content is well articulated and well presented. Subbed. Wish you more success for the channel 👍
One of the best reviews of a case i have seen. Great job. Answered a lot of questions that were in my mind. Thanks :)
My case! Incredibly happy with it , love the white minimalist look.
Do you still use the fans that come with the case? And are they good? And do they make a lot of sound?
@@DutchEdits010 but for now their good? Or do i need to replace them as soon as possible?
@@loebix845 late response but they work fine for me. Been using them for a year with one additional fan added
Used this case to make my first build a week ago. Already replaced the front fans with a 360mm RGB AIO. Now gonna order 3 more RGB fans to replace the back and 2 to top mount :). Love the RGB AIO, tho. Looks beautiful through the mesh case
How's the sound in this case? Is it still relatively quiet under full load? And in general?
@@jimmywatsup1 pretty quiet, depends on the fans you use of course. I can hear my NZXT fans but they never get pushed to full load
@@SlyCooperRN oh all goods. Yea I'd probably just stick to the og fans inside if that's the 'case'...... ha.... lol anyways Thanks! Aha
Fantastic review, just wish I watched this before I purchased mine as I would've used your link.
dude thank you so much you were right about that manual not being much help at all. I couldn't figure out how to get the non-glass side panel off of there lol. You saved me a possible broken case.
Love that you went really in depth great video BUT the unsolved Rubik's cube legit killed me other then that this whole thing was amazing!!
Thanks... I have it finished, but then my kid wanted to play with it and I was to lazy to redo it 🤔
Was the PC relatively quiet in that case when testing? I know that it would be slightly louder then the normal 275r just coz of its mesh front..
I'm not exactly sure what you want me to say, noise is very subjective. You can always adjust the fans to make the system quieter. Now this case wasn't noticeably louder than any other case I've tested.
@@HardwareForGamers yea I meant like as oppose cases that have a fully enclosed front but with vents on the side.
I know this is very immature of me to point out, but.. "Motherborads"
Anyhow, thank you for looking at this case.
Yeah.... Someone else pointed it out a while ago, and I fixed it. But you can't change video that have been uploaded.
great video! do you know the size of the glass side panel? it would help me out a ton! (also the screw distance)
sorry the case is in storage right now... so I don't have the dimensions.
Bro I love Motherborads too!
(Consider fixing the intro)
Great vid tho
Haha, I did (in my new videos) you can't change an uploaded video on UA-cam.🤦
@@HardwareForGamers lol yea haha. Thx for the review tho I’m really thinking of getting this case
@@HardwareForGamers hey, actually one more question if you don’t mind... On amazon, I keep seeing reviews saying the glass side panned on this case is insanely brittle and will fall apart at the slightest bump. In your experience with the case, is that true?
That’s the one thing deterring me from the case.
@@wannabee9836 😳 all I can say is I had no issues, the panel is still in one piece.
Good review thanks!
Cool! I was originally planning on purchasing a NZXT H510, but there were apparently some airflow issues with it. I still prefer the aesthetics of the NZXT case, but this also looks really nice and has decent air flow.
NZXT has serious air flow issues. It looks great but it's a hot box no matter how many fans you stuff into it. I have a cougar mx410 case (basically, a $49 rip off of this case but with a different front panel which is mesh) and it's got amazing airflow. the 4000d airflow is good also!
@@bullyakker Yeah I've been looking into a few cases. I'm just wondering if the heat in the nzxt case is fine considering how popular it is. Personally, im not purchasing one, but still.
@@duncandonuts5268 a friend of mine has one with a 2700x and 2070S. i have a cougar mx410 with great air flow, 1070f at 4.6-4.7 on all cores (got a good cpu it seems) and a 5600 xt. Mine is far cooler and he's got (he's a dumb ass) a TV he plays on at 60Hz(fps) while I play on my old 1080p 90Hz monitor and CRANK it all to holy bejesus for s*it's and giggles to test things. case air flow makes a HUGE difference as gaming the most i have hit is 66*c on the cpu when gaming when the cpu hit 100% and the gpu didn't. Don't ask how... I never expected to use 13-14 cores in any game for the next few years especially with this gpu topped at 90fps... (cyberpunk and warzone) but 66*!!! with a cryorig M9i!!! I don't expect better than 4.6-4.7 on all cores but... hey, 4.7 as a standard? why go K for 300+hz?
Hey! Quick question. Am I able to mount a 120mm aio in the bottom slot in the front of the case?
Awesome video, congrats! I would like to know how the temperature is for vertical mounting? Does anyone knows the impact, been positive or negative?
Yo how big is the power supply shroud? Also great review, it helped me a lot :)
I'm not sure what you mean by big, but at 5:05 I talk about the PSU sizing. Plus it fits an ATX power supply.
@@HardwareForGamers Ok, you think there is any chance that an average psu wouldn't fit? I'm mainly worried about the height of the psu, but if it's too tall can I just take the shroud off.
@@the_drag_dasher5148 you should be fine, just as long as you don't use a 1000w PSU.
@@HardwareForGamers Ok ye, mine is 850w, its the corsair rme. Thanks for the help btw, and great review, very straight to the point and convinced me to get this case even more lol.
Some people like in black other in white, I just like them both PC case variant.
I think it also comes down to the case on if black or white looks better. But yeah having the option to choose is really nice.
I have a question i want to buy one case and i dont know which is better in corsair 275r airflow or 4000d airflow
Have you watched my review on the 4000d airflow? ua-cam.com/video/gvcGQYM-0jo/v-deo.html
Both are good cases, but I do prefer the look of the 4000d airflow. And will be updating my editing rig with it soon.
Would a 240mm artic freezer ii cpu cooler go well with the rad mounted on the top and the 2 included fans on the front and 1 on the rear go well for overclocking an i5-11600k?
@@HardwareForGamers Great, thanks for the fast reply and good in depth reviews!
"Motherborads" Otherwise, really good review. No need to search for anything else. Well done!
Thanks, glad I could help. And yeah I know, I would need to repost the video to fix it.
@@HardwareForGamers Leave it man. Just a slip that in this case, says nothing about the quality of the vid. I wish you success.
Hey! just thinking of getting this case. I would put in a ryzen 5 5600 and msi radeon 6600 xt. would that work? thanks!
Decent case just really needed to know if it had front fans already installed to i can install a top mounted aio
do the fans come with a splitter/adapter or something similar? (i'm thinking of buying this case but i only have 2 fan headers on my mobo)
Sorry there are no splitters included. You would need to buy them separately.
may I ask the power supply fan is facing downward toward the screen mesh ? I have the same case like yours
does it come with all the motherboard stand offs and other screws and everything for a pc ready for build?
I was gonna go for a NR600 for my build, but dam this case is great as it comes with 3 fans for my 120mm radiator, and has dust filters on all main intake and exhausts.
Both are pretty nice cases, it really does depend on the style or look you want.
@@HardwareForGamers I’m honestly feeling the Corsair, it’ll feel unique with that pattern I think, and it’s my first pc and I can’t buy extra fans to keep under my budget constraints so I see a clear winner for only 30ish bucks more. Any thx for the video was super helpful, underrated channels like these I start to flock to these days.
WOW ... that cable management is very neat. The only problem i have with this case is that my SSD doesn't fit with the removable trays , i find the trays a little bit smaller than my 2.5" ssd . idk maybe i have to push the ssd harder.
ANYWAY, THANKS FOR THE VIDEO.
you can also fit a 2.5" ssd in the 3.5" sleds, but that's really odd that it's not fitting in on the 2.5" sleds...
Hi, what can I use to remove the screws on my case. The screw hole is rectangular and I'm so confused. Do I need an Allen key?
So you have the 275R? Not the 275R Airflow?? The 275R needs an Allen Key to take off the glass panel.
hi I have a 3.5mm headphones If I connect them to this case will my mic and headset work ? without needing a splitter?
The front IO is a combo port, so assuming you have the front IO audio plugged to the motherboard, you will not need a splitter.
Thanks for the review, I am deciding between 275R and 4000D. Btw, theres a typo @ 22secs
which one would be better, the 275r airflow or the lian li lancool 2 mesh?
Oooh, both are good, the 275 airflow is a bit less, but the lancool 2 mesh is really pretty and has a little more to it... I would go with lancool 2 mesh over the 275r airflow but you might want to take a look at the 4000d airflow from Corsair too.
can i put a 360mm radiator in front? It can be fitted with 6x 120mm fans right?
They’re both the same price in Australia as well…
What does fan normalized mean?
Hey is this a good case for a msi z490 a-pro, also should I install another fan
is your motherboard a mini ITX or mATX or ATX??? Then yes it should work just fine. and as I said in the video it would be a good idea to add at least 1 fan as a top exhausting.
I bought this case for $80, and recently I've seen the price double like woah
I lucked out lol
i just got this case but mine didn’t come with the screws. do you n on ow what kind of screws they are so i can purchase them?
Did you buy it new? If you did contact Corsair, they should send your the whole box.
@@HardwareForGamers i bought it open box it was supposed to have all pats but it didn’t have the bag of screws or the booklet.

I explain in my case testing method video ua-cam.com/video/nJb5yNUTEVI/v-deo.html I had a card for it right before the charts and a link in the description.
Do the fans have adjustable speed?
They are DC fans, so yes. But you will need to use the Bios or software to adjust them.
Is it hard to install another fan or easy?
It's really easy to install a fan if you do it before you install the system.if you're installing a fan into a pre-existing system it can sometimes be tricky.
What does it mean when you say "fan normalized" ?
