IIII is the traditional choice for watch making. This is true on all watches, be it Breguet, Rolex, Omega, even A Lange and Nomos in Germany or Timex and Hamilton in USA do it. Watch makers did it hundreds of years ago. Lots of ideas as to why, but it is tradition.
