Yes, hotel is probably the hardest to find in Japan, especially if you are traveling in more than group of 2 on a budget. They normally have rooms with beds for one or two people. When we travel there a few years ago, we had a group of 3 and finding a hotel with double queen beds was so hard. It's either you book two rooms or someone will need to sleep on the floor. Their beds are singles, if you are slim maybe two people can fit, its good for 2 children but not adults. But overall, Japan is so clean, transportation is amazing, out of this world, never knew I can go almost anywhere with public transportation. I used google map for navigation and i do not speak Japanese at all. We did fine ordering foods as well, we just use body language and point to the pictures....LOL...We feel so safe when without knowing their language. There were so much to do and see, and not enough time. We walked about 10 to 15 miles a day per our fitness app because there was so much to see and walking everywhere. I can see how you can easily lose weight. We book a trip in March of 2020, right when they announce the lock-down, so we had to cancelled. Have been waiting patiently to go back. Chris and Angel, I hope you guys can do video showing us how you pack and bring back all your goodies. We each brought two suitcases and just stuffed as much as we can, but maybe there are better ways to do it.
I think that it is funny that you go to Japan and macey and the family are back in the states. Hope every thing is good in Florida when you get back. Good luck and have a blast there
