Music is a gateway into ones soul, it's a living, breathing, feeling entity. It can lift you up, tear you down and bring you right back. Music is and will always transcend time. It can express every single emotion without a word. This to me is a blessing. I am so grateful to have ears to hear, and a soul to feel.

desde 1990 sigo la trayectoria de este proyecto,y me dio lastima que la cancion sadness en ese año no gano el grammy si no me equivoco y si no me corrijen a la mejor cancion alternativa o vanguardista ,ganando R.E.M con losing my religion, para mi el premio se lo merecia enigma,y todavia escucho su musica ahora en 2022, pero me gustan mas los discos viejos,y alucino con esa cancion puerta al cielo,social song,prism of life, de ja vu,este grupo es unico

Waited 3 years for this album to come out, after MCMXC a.D.i could not wait to hear what more Enigma had to offer, and by then World Music was a growing genre, Sacred Spirit and Deep Forest adding their own flavours to the mix, and I am so glad this was not another monk chanty album, because MCMXC a.D. is perfect already, nothing more to add, but this album cemented Enigma as a force of nature, I LOVE this album as much now as I did when I was just 19 years old, it still retains as much sensuality as MCMXC a.D. but this is such a beautiful album in so many ways, absolutely cannot get enough of this one, even 29 years later it still sounds amazing! For Return To Innocence, I love the Long and Alive version which was released with the single on CD back then, it is 9 minutes of epicness!
I strongly agree. If MCMXC a.D. is already perfect, The Cross Of Changes is quite perfect in its way and, personally, I do love it. One of my favorite albums of all times.
I was a little late in finding this music. I was in my 40's and I heard the 1st album coming from one of my daughters bedrooms. I couldn't believe it! The Gregorian Chants tied to hard drums with ethereal effects pulled me right out of my body and I was spellbound and stupified and I still am. Including the voice of Maria Callas and making it work right into everything else was an incredible bit of homage that would help keep her in sight of those born after her death.

We played "Return to Innocence" as the music of choice for our wedding. My wife step outside looking like one of the most beautiful angels I've ever seen. The sun shown down on her as she took each step. My heart skipped beats as she got closer. I stood quietly listening to the music entranced in the moment. The music stopped and it's been 24 years now and I still remember the smell in the air, the warmth on my skin, I remember thinking that the priestess was talking way too long getting us to the point I was waiting for. Our son the handsome little man he was stood on the stage holding the rings on a pillow. He was 7 and did an awesome job. All of our friends and loves ones were there. Funny we found this place in an advert paper. It was called Weddings R Us. 😂 Wouldn't change a thing.

We played "Return to Innocence" as the music of choice for our wedding. My wife step outside looking like one of the most beautiful angels I've ever seen. The sun shown down on her as she took each step. My heart skipped beats as she got closer. I stood quietly listening to the music entranced in the moment. The music stopped and it's been 24 years now and I still remember the smell in the air, the warmth on my skin, I remember thinking that the priestess was talking way too long getting us to the point I was waiting for. Our son the handsome little man he was stood on the stage holding the rings on a pillow. He was 7 and did an awesome job. All of our friends and loves ones were there. Funny we found this place in an advert paper. It was called Weddings R Us. 😂 Wouldn't change a thing.

There was a girl I fell in love with. I met her in French classes, I asked her out and she agreed, but she had relationship in a distance already. I thought she’d forget him cos I was in such relationships before where it ends with nothing. Well I was wrong, she chose him instead of me. And the only thing kept me not going crazy is this album. I wrote her a poem which was called Mon Énigma
