Guys great to see the video! As a small note, would be a big plus to have a 4K version of the video and with a better compression bit-rate.Thanks for sharing! Cheers.
A lot of fabulous footage in that sizzle reel :) Lovely. Still don't know which lens is which. That would have been very useful for those not buying the entire set initially.
@@timekeepermedia5142 Sorry, can't just make a blanket statement like that. Arri's Master Anamorphics are very sharp. Assume you mean 2x in this price range. In any case a lot of the footage looks soft in the center--ofc expect it on the edges. Just wondering if encoding or something else.
@@Resol-world nobody interested in this set should be comparing these to Arri Masters unless they're actually insane. Didn't think I'd have to specify as that should be a no brainer lol..
You can check out "GOLD BASTARD" on my page (the CATO period piece film showcased here). I shot everything at a T/4. They are very sharp lenses in the centre - beautiful distortion and fall off towards the edges. I have it uploaded in 4K as well.
I think of these as 2 lenses in one: 85mm is like a portrait lens with a standard lens field of view (43mm FF). I think this is ideal for single lens use. I'm a big fan of a 'standard' lens
I'm here for it. The Remus line hasn't left my BMCC6k

exactly what I want to write. And even further, link to vimeo
EXCITED!
So Jason Morris got the LUMIX S5IIX to be able to record footage for the Cato 2X reveal, I wish more cameras had anamorphic support :s

Beautiful
Would love to see this in 4K
awesome!!!
Is it me, or the encoding, but they look very soft.
2x anamorphics are going to look soft lol.
@@timekeepermedia5142 Not Atlas or Cooke,
but the price point..
