So I’ve owned both, I had a 2023 392 and I modified it to make it even better it was incredible and so much fun to drive but so uncomfortable on long trips it beat the heck out of me, and since I’m traveling alot this year towing a teardrop trailer I wanted comfort so I test drove the new bronco raptor and it was so much more comfortable and very unique looking in person when you see it up close so I ended up trading in my 392, I do miss it again that engine was just amazing but bronco raptor is amazing it’s fast it’s fun it handles great it tracks perfectly straight down the road, I think it’s small things that separate the two, at times I do miss the 392 because it’s such a hot rod to drive. If you can find both to test drive I recommend that then make your decision either way you can’t go wrong.
392 All day. We harassed the Braptor on the streets and not able to keep up lol. The power of the Jeep 392 is out of this world. I think it should be illegal for what it is. There's a massive amount of power without a sport mode. It can get dangerous tho, but we love it. Best all around vehicle since 1941. Make America V8 again.
As some one who owns and loves his 392, it's awesome! but when it comes to high speed off-Roading and on road dynamics (other than Straight line speed) the Bronco Raptor is better. the 392 can't hold a candle to the Braptor when driving fast offroad.
@@drivenmad2089What if you installed a Gladiator Mojave type remote reservoir suspension on the 392? Would it at least narrow the gap? Admire both. Own a '23 392 XR. Love the power, but one day I'd like to own a 2 Door Bronco in cyber orange with manual trans & Sasquatch. Doors/Roof off permanently... Great video. Thanks! 5:28
@@drivenmad2089 I'd probably prefer a Bronco, but I cannot give up the v8 of the 392. Ford dropped the ball IMHO. The reality is 99% of my driving is on the street, so that straight line performance is way more important. It would be different if the Braptor was maybe .5 sec slower to 60, but it is just not even in same league.
Braptor all day!!! I have a F150 Raptor with the 37 package and I don’t care how wide or narrow the trail is. I just full send the thing 😂. She’s got scratches all over but hey, it’s an off-road vehicle. Who cares about a few scratches.
Thank you so much for this video! especially on the on-road comfort! I have been looking every day for a video about that and you gave it to me with great description! Thank you for that
Regarding the lack of cooled seats in the Braptor - I heard that Ford opted against this because it would require perforated seats which would get sand and dirt in them. But yeah, a cool bottom on a hot day is so nice!
Yeah i dont know. My F-150 Raptor had Cooled sears and its also designed to be out in the desert and that was awesome when its 90-100 degrees haha Thanks for watching!
@@drivenmad2089 It may be because the Braptor has removable doors and roof - a sure way to get sand into every crack and crevice, haha. Great video! My Braptor is on order and I'm grateful for your breakdown comparison video between these 2 beasts.
@@F.P.E.7211 my point is most Ford retro themed vehicles are garbage. Having bought and driven numerous Ford retro themed vehicles, they have never failed to disappoint.
Old video ik but The cargo space was a mix up right ??? The bronco has MUCH more cargo space than the Jeep, .. exact numbers are 33 CFT IN Braptor , 27 CFT for Jeep 73 for braptor with seats folded 67 for Jeep folded .
If he bought every vehicle he reviewed 🤦♂️ You’re evidently just a Jeep fanboy and can’t stand when something else shows up in the dirt. I own both and a heavily modified Toyota. Triple threat. Each has its strong point and I love all three. Learn to expand your thought horizons my friend.
You ppl 🙄……. Did you even watch the video? Lol. No brainer huh? Have you actually driven one? Do u own a 392 like this guy? Your conclusion is a “no brainer” indeed. As in, no actual thought, experience or empirical evidence used to come to your conclusion.
the build quality is WAY better than the standard bronco. my 2 door is no where near as solid feeling as the Bronco Raptor. The Jeep and the B-Raptor feel the same in that aspect.
Do you even watch the videos? Or you just like talking out of your arse? I actually watch this guys videos Bc he gives honest opinions, you know…..him being a 392 owner and all, I think he’s qualified to give feedback on the comparison of these two vehicles. What are you going off of? Imaginary wheel time? Lol.

Ummm, did u even watch the video? Lol. Sry pal, raptor is just better. That is v8 cool, but it’s just not enough.
Dropped the ball? Lol. Ok guy, odd how he as a 392 owner chooses the raptor.

shocks and valving..the jeep can ride that well or better
I bought a Wrangler 392. Never considered bronco and I own Ford stock along with 4 Ford trucks and a Mustang.
What's your point? You can't compare the 2 if you haven't driven both for a period of time like this guy has. You're being subjective

Great review it is really a fun ride! I like the truth of your review.
Thanks Mike! and a few weeks ago before I drove it that wasn't my opinion but man, can't argue with how good it is!
The raptor is more comparable to the Mojave as far as suspension and Baja stuff goes
The Mojave is more like the Bronco Wildtrak...2.5 Fox...Braptor is live valve 3.1 fox, completely different.
Based on the recalls and the concern I have with forced induction on that heavy Bronco I would say the Jeep is the better buy.
Nice review, I’m loving my Bronco.. I also just placed an order on the new Chevy Colorado ZR2..
Appreciate it! and yeah the new ZR2 looks really good. can't wait to try it out. the midsize truck market is getting wild!
That's a great analysis, hope to get to ride in a bronco raptor at some point
It was awesome man! Really makes me want one but again already have a few vehicles coming in haha
Thanks for watching!
@@drivenmad2089 I’m excited for those even if they are not bronco raptors and Porsche 911 GT3 RS’s lol
IFS enough said, might be more comfortable but not the power , good review, and if your so set on it sell your 392 and get a bronco raptor

You don't even have to think. It's a no brainer. Jeep of course.

@@KN-jw7ts I rove both. I would choose 392 any day over bronco. I own a Gladiator with a swapped motor. Would never consider bronco.
Absolutely. 392 all day
Nice love handles
If it’s like my F-150 Raptor, the power and ride will be disappointing.
Literally any bronco is light years better than these jeeps.
Jeep will beat you down. Bronco much more nice to me
The Jeep. Thats easy. The Crapter sounds like a Corvair plus poor buid quality.

And Jeep is known for build quality? Jeep is perpetually on the list of most unreliable vehicles.
