- Fishing by trawling is considered an unsustainable and unviable fishing practice which has resulted in depletion of precious living resources in the narrow and enclosed Palk Bay region. In an effort to put an end to the persisting issue, recognizing deep sea fishing as a viable solution, the State & Central Government have planned to replace bottom trawler boats with tuna longliner cum gillnetter. This scheme was successfully launched by honorable Prime Minister of India in July 2017 and the boats were graciously flagged off by Hon. Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu in April 2019.
Cochin Shipyard Limited, the largest shipbuilding, and maintenance facility in India has been entrusted with the task of constructing deep-sea fishing vessels

High expensive and not a suitable vessel for long or gill.
So basically what I got from this video is because Americans are buying their fish they are able to survive. One more thing Americans are doing for another country.
Tamil nadu is not exporting to america. Govt of tamil nadu is exporting them to singapore where tamil is one of the official languages. So first do a research from where the fish you buy comes from 😊
The worst part is they dont even speak english
