Bonjour.
I actually was lucky enough to see the great players, including his son, and of course Ry.. He was in fine fettle... But the band, as well as the incredible Hamiltones, were perfection... Always wanted to see him, and couldn't miss the chance... Portland, Oregon, in the Revolution Theatre...
I was front row and before the show he walked onstage well within arms reach as I said Ry, really looking forward to this show. I had embroidered a hat that said "Seattle On Ry” and held it up to him. Walked right past with zero acknowledgement. I could've grabbed a pants leg he was so close. So yeah... I would call that rude @@TheAncient11545... Bad form towards people who pay to come see you IMHO... No more.
@@misterjim4458 if he wasn’t paying attention, he may not have heard you even being that close. I’ve seen him miss jokes from Taj and Rosanne Cash towards him while on stage with him. When he’s focused on something, 😂 he has some serious selective hearing. Rosanne’s face when she cracked a joke at the Ryman and he was completely oblivious. She looked like wtf…. Where are you…. I almost died. 😂 At the Ryman we heard part of his and rosanne’s sound check. He began talking to me. I couldn’t hear him so I walked over to hear him better. After the short chat I sat back down. When he sat down for a break on stage I approached the stage to ask him something. I was right there. I called him THREE times. By time three he jumped, apologized, and cupped his ear to hear me better. 😂 I laughed inside that I startled him. 😂 😂 I was standing right in front of him. So he may not have been as “insanely rude” to you as you think
@@misterjim4458 plus he may have been checking something for his show. If he stops and talks to you he sets precedent for everyone else. I know he’s very anxious before his shows. I’ve met that man 13 or 14 times. He’s not rude. At all. He’s actually a very very nice man.
Saw ths lineup in Napa valley. He is testimony to the healing power of music. It was worth waiting 40 years for.
Good memories here.
I came together with my brother from berlin to see that show at the Olympia.
I almost died during set list before "I can't Win"... and then I finally did.
If you were sat in front of me recording I would have been pissed off, but now I watch on the internet I am very grateful! 😂
Every
Thing is not about you; nor what pisses you OFF or
What makes you happy! 😂

Saw him in Seattle on this tour... 7/13/18... He was insanely rude. Such a disappointment. Great music... Rude Musician.
Rude in what way?
