It happened after a chain of life-changing, somewhat life-shattering events even, I went through the dark night of the soul, cut ties with a lot of people, and then found this phd position on something i wanted to study for years but hadn't gotten a chance. So it was great, but of course new place means new people and being alone mostly, especially bc i cut ties with people from the past - didn't resonate anymore. At the same time i met someone who i believe is my twin flame, as a person of science i didn't believe in such concepts, until i experienced crazy synchronicities - i started exploring spirituality. And this person disconnected from me, just as other new acquaintances who i felt connected to. And what you described about going to random places, i've always done that a lot - on my way to/from uni, work, doesn't matter - done it for years. Also for my studies, I lived in different places, moved to places bc of the projects i'd find. And now turning 30, I realize how lonely my journey has been. I've been fine with that, I've been always choosing what resonated with me, even if it meant leaving my old life behind a million times and starting all over, had many "existential crisises".
