Which power adapter model did you use to power yours on? I have a 24V 2A output ac/dc adapter that I've wire stripped with red going in DC+ and black going in DC-, but my device isn't powering on. The HME documentation says there is a 2.5A maximum, but I can't imagine the fact the adapter is only giving off up to 2A is not powering on the device? Any insight here would be very helpful, thanks!
@TECHNOLOGYTIPS101 thanks so much for the prompt response! Two more questions: 1) There's no power button, right? In other words if I have a functional power supply when I connect it correctly to the base station the base station should immediately just power on, right? I've reviewed the operating instructions and don't see anything that suggests there is some type of power button or anything like that. 2) I take it you just connected 22 Gauge red (+) and black (-) from the HME adapter to J3 (dc+, dc-) on the HME base station circuit board?
@@jonassteinberg3779 You are very welcome, and here are the answers to your questions 1. That is correct. There are no power ON/OFF buttons. The button on the side is for resetting the unit. 2. Yes, I used a 22 Gauge 3 conductor shielded wire, and the Center pin on the Base Station is Negative. The one closer to all other green plugs is Ground, and the third one is positive.
