The last day of Jhilimili-Kankrajhore tour was more of a leisure. In the morning time, me and krishnendu walked around Amlashol the village. We walked through paddy fields, small hills, watched birds. After breakfast, we checked out from Dhitaang and we went ahead to the nearest town Ghatshila. Ghatshila is just 23 KMs from Amlashol. Upon reaching Ghatshila, we first repaired our car. Then we went to visit the house of famous bengali author Bibhutibhusan Bandopadhyay. The house is named after his wife "Gourikunja". He spent his last years here. He wrote many famous novels here. The house has an adjacent museum where his writings, clothes are preserved. The entire house is managed by "Gourikunja Unnayan Samiti". They are the local authority to maintain the place. After visiting Ghatshila, we returned back to home.
