As someone that ran a TCG league for a few years, I just like videos like this more. It's about the game & art for people like Purplecliffe in an age where it's literally just about how much money you can make from it. Not the joy of ripping a pack and getting a cool find or building a deck. Just a guy chatting and opening up a cool new set, sign me up
The unedited video is awesome because it's my favorite part of every solo video which is just funny rambling and fun conversations. It feels like listening in on thoughts while you do random things. Super fun video to actively associate to or dissociate and do other things while just listening
im ngl i enjoyed watching this unedited, its fun to see the value edited in but a podcast style video time to time is really neat. i like hearing people ramble lmao
Bro I love this video so much, on the bus to college and listening to Cliffe Yap podcast style and opening SS is honestly one of the best things I think I've watched in a while
I am surprised how fun he is unedited! HONESTLY the only streamer I can watch stream. Edited is chefs kiss! I am surprised at how well they cut things down without leaving anything out. it honestly feels the same but is better time sensitive. I love both! You all should be super proud of what you do!
1) The unedited chill videos are always good! 2) TCG pocket has been going crazy I love it. I have been collecting the cards for years but didn't play the tcg game much. I am actually playing pocket all the time it's so fun
That was great! I loved how you went on all sorts of tangents while opening the packs! I honestly enjoyed it a lot and would watch more videos like this!
I like this style of content! It was fun to see you react without any editing and hear you talk freely. Your love for Pokemon and the TCG really came through. Also don't worry about being late for your meeting. I watched this video when I should be taking my quiz for my online class. No regrets!
I usually don't comment on videos since I'm kind of shy, yet your videos cheer me up when I'm worried about the ones I care about most. Your content puts a smile on my face, and I really appreciate how you're speaking freely in this one! ^^
I've never played TCG but I love listening to you talk about it & your videos with Sam too. This podcast style is super fun and light, would love to see more like this whenever you feel like making one
I love TCG Pocket because I would absolutely love the actual TCG but I don’t have the money for it, so being able to just play for like 4 hours in the last week and have 5 decks to play and have fun with is amazing.
The fact Jack can tell if his first Black Kyurem ex art is from Plasma Storm is terrifyingly amazing. I love the podcast style. Nice way during the night to watch you while being chill. Helps me relax better
It was pretty funny that I was watching your tcg videos randomly without knowing about tcg pocket until you mentioned it, and now I’ve been playing it a bunch.
Thanks for uploading today man. One of my friends died this morning due to high fever (he was 15, so am I) and I really don't know how I would have gotten through the day if it wasn't for you brother. Thank you for this.
I’m posting this comment before fully watching this but I got an alolan eggsecutor(idk how to spell it) from this set and for 3 energy you flip a coin, if heads u insta kill your opponents active Pokémon, if tails you instakill any of ur opponents bench pokemon
Absolutely love this style of video and am really hoping my favorite deck, ancient box picks up with that new koraidon card. Keep up the awesome content!
I have almost 700 cards, so many full arts on TCG pocket and have spent NO money. Its so amazing. Such a player friendly game!! I used to play TCG online and the TCG in person(haven't since SM lol), and honestly, even with the decks being 1/3 the size, its still INSANELY fun.
( commenting to boost the preformance of an unedited video) Around the 15 min mark you asked about opinions on Sandy ghast and honestly I do like the Mon as a concept. Haunted houses are a cool jumping off point for a pokemon and with alola being a beachy place having a sand castle pokemon makes since. But its so simple! Even though object mon have there place in pokemon and not every pokemon needs to be a three stage line, it feels kinda unfinished to me. Maybe with ZA it can get a form with more intricate structures and like canons peaking out windows of the building.
9:20 My buddy was showing me that he was into TCG and it made me bring out my childhood Pokémon card (so glad I kept them, I'm 24 now). Then he told me about TCG Pocket, and I immediately got the itch. Not only did I want to start collecting again but I also learned how to actually play the TCG. As a kid the rules were beyond confusing, so I just kept them in sleeves. Now I have great condition 1st edition fossils and other old cards. Pokémon Pocket 100% dragged me into this world and fast.
Kinda fun to just see jack just chill out and talk to the camera unfiltered. Love all the edited videos but it’s nice to have a change up once in a while yk?
I love this video so much because it’s just raw purplecliffe, I collect on pocket and physical cards I appreciate your work man please keep it up! I plan on going to tournaments for the first time any advice anyone?
Second comment: I wouldn't mind a chill style video like this of you just going through some of the tossed common cards from when you do the massive openings.
my brain is too smooth for card games (most games in general tbh), but ive always been interested. i love that pocket holds my hand. im actually learning how it works now :)
I'm a budding VGC player but I have also started TCGP and it's so fun! I always found TCG kind of scary and inaccessible because I thought it was confusing but TCGP is making me want to play the TCG :)
That Pikachu tera card was awesome, even if it's not the expensive one. I wanted to say as well, your Pocket TCG video is what made me finally break down and get the app. I got some really cool full art cards so far, and I really like the battle mechanic! I like that it's only 20 cards per deck verses the 40 or 60 in a regular deck. And I like that the cards are not too over powered in terms of attack damage. There's a couple hard hitters for sure, but you need to put more strategy in your decks and moves because of the limited cards. I think it gives a more fair chance at being able to play, especially with energy given each turn! I've lost so many matches in the other app and irl due to poor shuffling causing an energy drought, making me unable to attack for entire matches. Great video too! Sometimes it's nice to have an unedited one sprinkled in now and then.
HES RIGHT HE DIDNT TELL ANY OF US LMFAOO

This podcast style is super cool! Sinnoh deserves all the time
I missed the pack opening videos so much, glad it's back!

The sudden realization about the thumbnail 😂
Very appreciated about the forgetful moments.

3:13 funny enough I'm literally playing tcg pocket while watching this 😂
Love the more casual rambling ❤️❤️
I think your simple card unopenings are nice, especially for a pleasant background video, so I wouldn't mind more every now and again!
Just recently found the channel and have been loving all the content!
I’m so excited for your TCG pocket videos and return of your old series.
When I first got into tcg pocket, I had a lot of fun, and now, I'm slowly getting into tcg live and am really enjoying myself.
i was on azulgg's stream when u said hi to him!! i just wanna say ur a great content creator, keep it up!
The cards are so pretty! This was a fun watch
I need more 'Podcast' Jack. Whether just talking tcg or whatever else, I need it

Love the vids Jack! Keep up the amazing work!
I played TCG then got into the card game after not playing for years, it is so much fun and is more fun (surprisingly!)

I got the 500 dollars pikachu in my first ever surging sparks ETB, when it came out!!!🎉

I like this more chill purplecliffe episode. Its perfect for a 2nd channel.
Unedited, spontaneous plurplcliff is something we need more of.
Kinda fun to just see jack just chill out and talk to the camera unfiltered. Love all the edited videos but it’s nice to have a change up once in a while yk?

One second is voluptuously amazing
I haven't had the urge to buy any of the S&V sets until they released Surging Sparks with that Spheal. my round boy is back
my brain is too smooth for card games (most games in general tbh), but ive always been interested. i love that pocket holds my hand. im actually learning how it works now :)
I honestly really like purplecliffe unedited ngl. It’s pretty chill
Coming from the games, it’s weird to see Purplecliffe be knowledgeable about Pokémon lol.
Love the videos

This is a relaxing content to watch while eating breakfast
