- Air Canada will operate approximately 37% of Canada's long-haul flights in June. That finding is based on analyzing the country's entire network using Cirium data. However, its domination is down from 42% in pre-pandemic June 2019, months before the world had heard of COVID. Launching four long-haul routes in less than a week helps its recovery. Let’s find out where the carrier is now flying to!

Canada suffers lack of competition in most sectors including airliners which led to higher prices and low customer satisfaction
Oh yes!!! I hated having to fly with them. They just didn’t give a F.
Air Transat also still exists right?
@@RunawayTrain2502 yes
The worst part is that the Government itself discourages competition by creating barriers for new entrants.
Ok Porter next stop widebodys im waiting
Thanks for warning us. Will avoid those routes.
Bring back Canadian Pacific Air Lines.
CP Air's first and business class were untouchable. Their economy class was always quite good too. Unfortunately, the good ones never seem to last.
Blame Westjet for this one.
Can they re-launch long haul (with the exception of LHR) out of Calgary again?! I'm tired of WestJet and these Euro discount carriers
What abour direct flights t9 Scotland like Edinburgh or Glasgow
Westjet putting the pressure on over the Atlantic serving the likes of Edinburgh with its cheaper to operate 737 max.
So what are Porter & Air Transat doing?
That's great. Instead of needing fly on *three* flight legs to get anywhere, now I'll only need to fly on, er, uh, still *three* flight legs.
If you keep the mechanics working, maybe.
Did Air Canada double check the boeing aircraft before flying? I am very concerned about the safety standards of boeing aircraft having read the news of so many incidents involving boeing aircraft! Such concerns should not be from me, but from anyone who flies with this kind of aircraft, including the precious highly trained air pilots! Human lives matter!
Worst business class I’ve ever flown
I hate this airline...their regional service is horrible...arrogance is their most significant trait.
It’s not I like them
The great thing about Air Canada is that all flights try to cost Cdn$2000. Toronto to Moncton, they'll try asking for $2k (often less). Toronto to Hong Kong, same $2k.
Did i hear that right Syrian data ?
ooh, first?
Yup! 🥇
You mean Air EASTERN Canada... The paternalistic airline only grows flights out of their eastern hubs while ignoring the fact that all the growth in the industry is based in Alberta... Edmonton is the largest under-served market in the nation but they don't care...
I just learned something new! I didn't know Vancouver was situated in EASTERN Canada! Wow!
