Hi Gary, Great reviews, i have a wolfang ga300 that i am looking to upgrade, i was going to go to the GA460 but from seeing your review the osmo action is looks a lot better, i guess this is obvious giving the price but for the odd ski trip and underwater adventure would you say sending the extra is worth it, i may only use it once a year. Thanks.
@johnsaunders-n7d thanks appreciate the support, you know now I've used a few wolfang i think the 440 is probably the easiest option as it's all built in plus amazon had it on at less than 90 quid recently. If you spend more though the osmo 4 is silly money now for what it offers.
Can you compare with GA420 ,I've just chosen that one over the ga440 as prefer be able change battery also get a mic with it etc, I could have bought the 440 for a few quid more , but like say battery internal prefer be able to change, also can add a 128g mem card to the 420, how much better quality is the video over the 440 ? I did notice on 3bay , it says the maximum focal length is 1mm for the 420 and 5mm for the 440 and 8mm for the 460 , not sure what means , does mean the 420 is wider ?as camera lens would be that , but doesn't make sense to me , as 1mm to 8mm is a big jump, I wonder how it affects the quality , anyway I'm sure I'll be happy with it , for now , :-), thanks
There's a few amazon reviews complaining about how short the battery life is on these. What's been your experience? Is it a concern? Thanks for your review.
I agree, cheap action cams have come on so far. If you can live with the sound and stability issues it's a cracking cam. Thanks for watching, I appreciate it.
I had that issue and I came to realise, These cameras are not made for audio they are made for and focus on getting the best video they can, so what you must do is use a separate device to record audio and mix afterwards using software on a laptop or something, that's what I'm going to do, indoors using a laptop for audio and action cam for video ,the mix the 2 , delete or mute cam audio add recorded audio , the waves should even roughly line up , just drag until is in sync,I'm doing this way as need need a wide angle ,and cheaper than buying a canon lens lol ,if outdoors you could maybe use your phone to record the audio or buy a pro device , there ae some made for it , I forget the name , lav mic or something
well i can comfirm how tough the GA400 is, 800ft down a cliff to a creek, got down there and it was still recording and fine and yes under water. i will say no go pro will do that . hell go pro rarely works over 80 degree's imo junk your being scammed every model does it. what a waste of 2000 in go pro. wolfang works fine.

Looks great I’ve bought it on the offer and it turned out to be cheaper than the previous model the ga420
@@orange_orange3010 brilliant deal, I'm glad it's OK for you.

@BurkeTrue2 it seemed OK to be honest, at least 45 minutes I'd say in 4k per battery?
Which small tripod fits it ?
@peterwhitby1919 I use the mini dji model but I'd imagine anything as it's so light. Appreciate you watching and commenting.
I was thinking about getting a new 420. But someone said a used Hero 8 might be better. Would be for riding my bicycle on the road
@@Lance-reviewsANDmore definitely a far better option.
Driving mode? It says Diving mode.... Sorry, but I could not unhear that. Shame of the rest, good review, but not driving...
Footage on this looks surprisingly good compared to the usual potato quality of cheap action cams.

Thanks for the review. It was useful.

All are very similar. I only interested in " wind Noise " . I cant find one that doesn't suffer from it. you didn't test wind noise :O

@MrBumbles2 very true, you do get better quality with better kit but not proportionally.
