Nice. I hadn't seen this video version before.
I'm not a fan of the official video (as well done as it is!) I just feel it's so 'busy' in terms of its imagery and story that it pulls me away from appreciating just how amazing the vocals are, and I can't get enough of Heike Langhans' voice. I think you'd enjoy any of her work with Draconian or Hallatar...
The previous singer was also superb, in a technical sense, but to my ears, always sounded too happy 😂 If I'm listening to a song about despair, I don't want the singer to sound like she's found another yacht 🤣
Apologies if that's unkind; she was fantastic singer - just not to my taste.
