Love the game room, man. I love how its not overly cluttered but still has tons of awesome stuff in it. Your top shelf is so awesome and so are your statues. Also, where do your keep all your dreamcast stuff?
I understand the problems of finding space for new stuff, my approach is not to look at what I have but where I still see wall, all those gaps add up so I shift everything tighter to open that gap. You mentioned the closet is full of boxes, ever consider taking the door off & building shelves to display all statues? you could stack the boxes on top of each to create pillers around the room and put posters on the ceiling ! Great collection & room tour vid !! A+
Nice to see you have the R2 Collectors edition with the Chimeria statue. Don't normally go for the collectors editions generally but, thats one I did get!

Sweet video. I like the set up of your games and awesome statues. I also have a room vid of my games and consoles. A little cramped though but it works. I've been thinking of adding some shelves and collecting more figures :)

I'm 30 now and just started re-collecting games, consoles and toys about four years ago since I didn't have the hindsight before to save everything I had as a kid. So I've spent thousands getting my collection built back up. Moral of the story: Don't sell this stuff off. :]

Over the past 8 years that I have been collecting, I have probably spent about $4,000-$5,000. I really never spent that much on games, as I would always buy when stuff is cheap.
Statues on the other hand, I have spent way more on.
I really like your wall shelves. I am thinking of building a similar setup. how do you join the planks together to make one wide shelf ? i was thinking of cutting the ends into interlocking notches so they fit together like puzzle pieces lol then maybe drive in a long screw through the notches to reinforce it further.

@123hellstorm Yah most of the statues are fairly expensive. I would recommend buy statues right when they come out, since they usually go very high up in value.
It is not about the amount of games, but the quality of the games.
@OhYouIFancyHuh Seriously I would recommend a plasma!!! What size are you looking to get? because the smallest plasmas come is 40 or 42.

yeah same here too its just a thing you have to cope with wen collection video games. 1 thing i can recommend to you tho, is on your shelfs if you can make each shelf sit as close as possible to each other thats much better as it harder for dust to settle in the smaller gaps rather than the bigger gaps and wasted space your best bet is to build your own shelf like iv done in my room. and just dust it daily. allso buy a Dust Extractor there only around £50 and work awsome

The regular is 750 edition size. Mine is the Exclusive which has an edition size of 300 and comes with the saw blade.
You can have a hobby, (such as collections) and still have a vert good, fast paced, life. A hobby is something you do to unwind. lets say this guy gets home from work, and finishes his stuff. At this point, he has a bit of extra money, so he buys a game/statue and adds it to his collection.

I remember your are the guy in 2005 to post your video game collection on room of doom then I gather to start video games and now in 2013 my video game collection on one side is in full at my tv direction but I like games that sold in japan
The macbook pros run the GTX 650 cards, but they are mobile. I have have Crysis and I played about an hour of the game on very high settings.
I am a little confused as to why an iMac is over priced. The all in once dell computer has around the same specs and is only $100 less. Apples prices are very competitive.
depending on your subwoofer power, i would recommend not placing it so close to your systems and tv because of the magnetic interference it can cause. might be some slight damage to the guts of the components in the long run.
I used to have the PX5s and the Tritton AX PRO, but I think I am either going to get the Tritton War Heads of Astro A50s.
@akathetruthteller I had the PCS Chun Li blue (regular ed) on preorder, but I cancelled it since I am having car problems and too many other statues are coming out. I figured it would go down a little in price like Guile and Bison. I want to get Vega, Cammy and Vangief but they are usually too rich for my blood. As for Ryu and Akuma...forget about it.

Both are sealed. I used to have about 25 of them, but sold all but two.

You should make yourself a Gears of war corner, where you would display all you GoW stuff. I'm pretty sure it would look epic, considering how much stuff you got of thst franchise (statues, busts, collectors edition etc etc...)

@OhYouIFancyHuh I do no think sony still makes plasmas. Panasonic makes great ones, my brother and I each have one. We both bought it on amazon when there was a sale last year. we have the panasonic 42" 1080p 600hz 3d vierra for about $600-$700.

so ive been playing games since i was a kid and ive recently just started getting into gaming even more and have started building a collection up from what i already have, i own a ps3 wii gc snes n64 gameboy color and advance ps2 and i play os1 games on my ps3, recently bought the n64 after selling mine many years ago so i have no games for it yet but its my favorite system so im hoping to collect every game for n64, even conkers bad fur day which is ridiculously expensive
Im thinking of putting shelves on the wall like you did, any advice about doing this? i have 2 cats and im tired of them getting on the bottom floor shelf, worries me they might knock it over since its not very stable.
You do understand that if you have a Mac Pro you can use non mobile graphics cards. You can swap out all of the components.
So Mac is a fine choice then...

Please tell do not tell me you did not know macs can run windows. I have windows and OSX on my mac. My mac runs Crysis on very high, so I think it is great for gaming.
Usually I buy them before they are sold out. But if I have to I use ebay. I usually buy them on the companies website.

@antnie0425 There are allot of amazing anime movies out there. Some of my favorite would have to be films done by Studo Ghibli. Castle in the sky, Nausicaa, Princess Mononoke, Grave of the Fireflies and many many more. Try those out and let me know what you think. :)

@1in6win They are fairly expensive, especially since you have to pay each month. I would rather just have a ton of boxes blocking the walk ways.
the statues are amazing, but i dont see why you'd keep the boxes?
I guess for transport it makes it a lot safer and easier

open the window when you play especially if you have a xbox 360 or dreamcast as they kick up the dust so if you open the window it diffuses outside

yea i love statues i was thiking about either a Sonic or halo one. i already have a halo reach statue and halo 3 helemet do u know any good sonic statues for around $60's?
