Befriending Higgins was very fun since he is a such an interesting character. I wish they made him as a romance option too after we became best friends. Him as a boyfriend/spouse would really be funny to see. The Game of Thrones reference though haha

Love when Arlo just boots the door open. I realized why dating Arlo was easy. You end up seeing him a lot in the game so it's easier to be friends quicker.
I actually did a game where I pretty much proved that the game basically pushes you towards certain characters, especially Arlo. I decided that I would marry the first person to become my friend. I was not allowed to talk to or gift anyone (well I made an exception for Gale, Gust, and Albert because I wanted the benefits… but I plan to do this again without the benefits to be sure Albert wouldn’t be the one). I also had rules for choosing commissions… price and then ease and speed of filling it. I almost never chose civil corps members except early game, cause they wanted a lot of talismans lol.
Arlo far surpassed anyone else.

I do play on the PC. I’m not sure if it’s available on other platforms, but his friendship missions start shortly after you finish the main story
