    How do you know when it's ready?

      Once the groundnut peel starts getting darker, take one of the groundnut and peel it to see the golden brown colour, then it's ready. Thanks for your feedback, if you have not subscribe to my channel please Like and subscribe to my channel, Thanks.

      Good morning, garri is known as cassava flakes, It's gotten from processed cassava roots. If you have not subscribe to my channel please encourage me by subscribing, thanks.

      You can as well use salt instead of garri

    Thank you. Please is it same process if we are using newly harvested( not dried) groundnuts.

    • @Edithsensational_kitchen348
      @Edithsensational_kitchen348  3 місяці тому

      Preferably use dried groundnut, you will not get the desired flavour or sweetness, if you use newly harvested groundnut.

      Hello, thanks for your feedback. I used cassava flakes (garri) or you can also use semolina flour to roast it.

    What if there is no sun and you don't have dryer to dry it? How do you dry the groundnut? Can you do room drying ?

    • @Edithsensational_kitchen348
      @Edithsensational_kitchen348  4 місяці тому

      Yes you can, dry it in the warmest place in your house. It will take a longer time to dry, make sure to always turn it to avoid moisture.

    This is very nice. Please, can I dry in the oven instead of sun drying? Thank you for this detailed video

    • @Edithsensational_kitchen348
      @Edithsensational_kitchen348  3 місяці тому +1

      You cannot dry it in the oven, else it will either bake or be roasted but if you have air dryer you can use it.

    • @Edithsensational_kitchen348
      @Edithsensational_kitchen348  5 місяців тому +1

      Garri is cassava flakes, if you don't have access to garri. You can use semolina flour to fry or roast your groundnut. Thanks for the feedback

    How much salt do you use please and how much water from the kettle?

    • @Edithsensational_kitchen348
      @Edithsensational_kitchen348  7 місяців тому

      Hello, I appreciate your feedback. I used 3 tablespoons of salt because of the quantity of groundnut, so it depends on the amount you are using and 2 litres of hot water.
