    Hey Derrick!
    I wanted to pose a few questions for you regarding your mobile detailing setup. First off, just wanted to congratulate you on the cleanest/leanest build I have seen on UA-cam. The way you saved cost and mitigated unnecessary equipment while utilizing all the space available was impressive. I am looking to build a similar setup using the chevy spark as well. My questions are as follows:
    1. Are the wheels shift crank h20’s? From what I can see they come in 17/18 sizes. Is so, did you go with the 17s or the 18s?
    2. Are you running spacers on your sparks wheels? I really like the aggressive stance which definitely turns heads I’m sure, which is very important to drive future business.
    3. Did you need to modify suspension to accommodate larger wheels?
    4. Do You also carry a ladder on the roof of your car for larger SUV’s?
    Thanks for all the videos they have been an inspiration.

    • @thedopestdetailer9693
      @thedopestdetailer9693  Рік тому

      Hey Austin yes the wheels are 18” Shift with spacers… I started off with coil lifters however the ride is too hard so I’m actually in the process of doing a suspension replacement for more comfort.
      I don’t carry a ladder (as I figured out ways to make cleaning the much easier and simple)… I only carry with me what I use often and for the most part what I’m using for the day. I don’t overload the unit as that’s not what it’s made for. Once you get into a rhythm and flow you’ll know exactly what to bring along for the day. I don’t even carry a gas can. I know my pressure washer and generator so I pay attention to how many vehicles I’ve completed.
      It all comes down to paying attention to what you’ve done as you navigate through your days in this little Power House. I hope that this has been helpful to you.!

      I have a 65 gallon tank however I barely every move around with more than 30 gallons at a time. On average it only takes about 8-10 gallons of water to detail a vehicle. Anything more than 10 gallons (in my opinion) is over doing it.
      I’m always mindful of the water weight on my vehicle so therefore I pay close attention.

    I don’t understand why so many mobile detailers put big tanks in small cars. Y’all ain’t never heard of Rinseless washes? Y’all ain’t never heard of DI tanks? You could be doing so much more with that space carrying all that water ruining your transmission and your suspension. Get rid of that water tank and put in a small air compressor, a generator and DI tank to hook up to your pressure washer system.

      Thank you for your comment and I appreciate the insight…with that being said you have to do exactly what works for you. Everything isn’t for everybody but I’m sure why works for you might not work for someone else. Good luck on your journey and continue to grow👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
