Because everyone can look like a star on video clips. European teenagers don’t play more than 15 minutes per game. Not much you can ascertain in such little game action. What will Dadiet look like with an extra 20-30 lbs of muscle/weight to his frame in 3 years? Might need 3-5 years to truly fill in. Trust me, in the NBA every one of these moves will be met by the most superior athletes in the world. It will NOT be this easy. From where I sit, he’s not explosive. He doesn’t jump out of the building. He’s not terribly quick. Can he pull off all these off the dribble moves at the NBA level? A lot of scouts have already spoken. If he were on the next level talent, he’s automatically a lottery selection. The reason he’s not is they see what I’m seeing. A big kid that’s long enough and just quick enough for this league in limited action. Will his first step be good enough at the next level? I dunno about that.

Reminds me of Austin Reaves offensively but has the defensive awareness of a KCP. Dadiet possesses great scoring arsenal, has a good ball handling ability, can attack mismatches and beat his defenders. Also has a really nice pull up jumper in his bag. Defensive awareness lets him anticipate passing lanes and has quick hands to strip the ball off some players. Might do better as a help defender rather than a 1v1 lockdown defender like Jaden McDaniels. A steal for sure

Not impressed defensively. Seems to always be trailing and chasing his guy, and takes advantage of bad passes from smaller guys. That won't play will in the big leagues. Only two things that stand out for me is his handles going one-on-one and his ability to go to his left consistently as a righty. Those are two things that are hard to develop, you either have it or you don't. Just ask RJ Barrett and his zero handles and inability to go to his right
