I wish I could use this with sustained notes, like one a harp, dulcimer etc. The arabic and turkish vsts I have don't have a chromatic option and are missing a lot of essential maqams.
How do DAWs like Cubase record the midi for playback when you're sequencing, don't they only have a 12 semitone piano roll? What would the midi look like and can you edit it?
Hello, this is an amazing plugin! I am thinking of purchasing it. I am an Ableton user, will it work with Kontakt or Serum? I read that Kontakt is mandatory?
This is a game changer ... If i want use it with Kontakt in Cubase do i have to set a two instrument tracks one for Kontakt and the other for Microtoner ? Or one track for Microtoner and go to Kontakt through Microtoner ?
First open up the standalone MicroToner app and scan for all AU and then VST3 plugins. Then open Cubase and insert MicroToner into a software instrument track. You then load Kontakt within the MicroToner plugin. Please note, unless the plugin you are using is MPE compatible you will only be able to use it in Mono mode.
@@7amidofficial- It should be straight forward. 1. Install MicroToner, run Plugin Manager, scan plugins 2. In FL Studio, Options -> Manage plugins 3. Find installed plugins in top left 4. Click star to favorite new plugin, should be yellow/orange text 5. Right click channel instrument (ie. Sampler) and insert MicroToner 6. Select plugin on bottom (optionally open plugin to test it or change parameters) 7. Click on a few keys in Scale, default is -50 cents 8. Test with midi keyboard or go to wrench icon "Miscellaneous functions" in VST wrapper to click on keyboard at the bottom If it's not working, try restarting FL Studio or your midi devices. If it plays in the wrapper keyboard then you might have a midi problem unrelated to MicroToner.

Can you use it as a plugin on Cubase main Mix? So it can effect all the instrument tracks ?
