    Thanks for this! I own this tractor, but am new to a cab tractor, mahindra, and tractors with rear hydraulics. My dealer is great, but this is like the walk through he did when I bought it and I forgot a LOT. Thanks for the reminder. In 6 months my contractor and I have put 500 hours on this tractor, everything is great. Just remember to check the wheel bolts! That has been the only "issue" and my dealer resolved it really fast. All good stuff!

    well after almost 100 hours on a new 6075 here r the pro and con....
    pro.... great tractor, 4wd is awesome, payload is good, windows for viewing xcellent, radio is a plus, removing the bucket to install forks takes 2 minutes, viewing angles are good, exterior lighting is good, tires are very large and offer excellent ride height, the air filter system is easy to check, the a/c and heat work very well, exterior mirrors offer good rear views, the seat is adjustable and absorbs some of the bounce,
    cons... all the easy stuf is basically forgotten at the factory. all plastic covers with not stay closed, the fuse box cover is mounted at your feet and will constantly fall off, the door latches are constantly getting loose needing to be retightened almost daily, the rear window will constantly fall out, the radio is not Bluetooth, the 4wd control is in an awkward position hard to reach while driving, the steps are not for large feet and when wet or icy they are extremely slippery, the horn is dead silent for the driver, AND be sure the dealership installs Loctite on all lugs or the freakin tire may fall off in the middle of a creek!! the bucket lift handle is mounted to far back from the steering wheel very uncomfortable after 6-8 hours, gear knobs tighten into non conforming angles so they are not straight, the exterior lighting does not shine sideways at night so anything on your side view is invisible, interior mirror is extremely small, the seat is adjustable but could use twice as much shock absorbing, the exterior lighting is NOT led, the under mount tool box is inadequate for more than a small screw driver and no where in the cab to carry any additional tools at all.
    over all a good tractor and many of these con items are the same with any tractor. for the money this is an excellent tractor and well worth the price especially if you overlook the small issues. btw be sure to purchase a torque wrench and check all lug nuts daily.

    Is the 85p identical to this one except for the hp?

    • @HenrySkinner
      @HenrySkinner 5 років тому

      On the 85 p you still have to hit the clutch to go forward and reverse on the 6000 series it is a power shuttle shift no clutch involved in my opinion the 6000-series is a well made tractor

      Id honestly get a 12ft predator from modern AG batwing. Heavy duty shredder and quick. I have 20 acres and tired of spending a day shredding. Iknow its an old post you have.

    so now at 120 hours new problems have developed. the trans/hydraulic fluid leaks constantly. looks like its actually been leaking for quit some time and slowly getting worse and worse. dealer looked at it, said to use it and keep it checked and full. it now leaks 1/2 gallon a day! leaks everywhere, all over the driveway, as you are driving down the street, constantly dripping. the bucket control joystick came loose a few months ago and the dealer "fixed" it. now it is loose again. bolts all over the tractor are loose. seems like the fit and finish was skipped at final inspection and many things are loose and quickly fall off. the fluid leaking is ridiculous at best. it a real mess and very disturbing considering the initial warranty is almost up. the dealer told me to tighten all fittings where the leak is occuring. its right above the battery in a junction box where all the lines meet. nothing is loose at all. i was told its probly an o ring failing or possibly the o ring was twisted at the factory and has eventually completely failed. if i bought a new tahoe premeire and it leaked this much fluid i would demand my money back or seriously be considering a lawsuit! on top of the extreme fluid leak, the fluid is not cheap at all. we have already gone thru over $100 of fluid and its not even close to being fixed. we have since began parking only only gravel so as not to leak any further amounts on the new black top. its just very frustrating to see such obviously bad quality control. we had such high hopes for this machine but now im not so sure it was a good investment. think about it this way, if at 120 hours its leaking 1/2 gal fluid each day and with all the other issues and problems we have already had, tires falling off in the middle of a creek, rear window falling out, door latches constantly loose, bolts loose all over the tractor, fuse box cover constantly falling off, etc etc and the warranty being almost over, WHATS GONNA GO WRONG AFTER THE WARRANTY EXPIRES??? so very disheartening and i hate to think about it for sure, but i do, and all i keep coming up with is.... why didnt i buy the john deere?????????? the manufacturer needs to hire someone like me with real world experience and management skills to fix all these manufacturing problems and turn mahindra into the best possible tractor it could ever be, bc it has the potential for sure but right now, im not impressed.

    • @kinggzz

      @@billypowell1332 update, the dealer fixed the leak, it was a missing or twisted O ring. after that one of the hydraulic lines burst and the bucket could not be lifted, lol. i took it apart and removed the line, brought it to the dealer and they made me a new line and compressed my original fittings back on. wasn’t to difficult. everything else has been very smooth except the a/c control wouldn’t work so i removed it, the unit is ok but the nuts holding the control knobs in place both came loose. i tightened both, put it all back together and it works. again with loose nuts. the machine has been moving dirt and ricks with ease and we are happy.
