I'm pretty sure the Capitan knew that Seras couldn't beat him. That's why he kicked the silver tooth at her. I also think the reason he wanted to die was because they had pretty much won, London was destroyed, Alucard was "gone", And the major got the war he wanted, they spent there whole life time waiting for that moment so once it came true they pretty much lost there point in living. So that's why the captain gave Seras the tooth, he was happy to die.
I don't think he knew Seras couldn't defeat him because maybe he wanted her to give him the best she can give so he gave her the silver tooth to kill him so he could die

Yeah focusing on the loyal hound aspect, rather than the wild animal aspect. Where the werewolf is quiet and noble and honorable, like a good doggo, and has elements of tragedy being a lone wolf with no pack, clearly missing his family and wanting to move on to the next world hoping he will see them again

The captain the only person of the majors lost brigade that was not artificially changed by the mad doctor but was an actual werewolf who fought against alucard and Walter even in world war 2
The Captain is very clearly holding back he can turn into mist to avoid damage and a giant wulf to just bully her he seems to even have a type of hybrid form but he fights like a normal man and only uses his abilities when necessary and he also he just gives her a silver piece. Not to disrespect my girl Seras but Hans is obviously Alucard and Anderson level if he went all out with killer intent.
Oh Captain my Captain... How lonely he must’ve been, no pack and no one to understand him. What horrible things he must’ve witnessed in his ancient lifetime....but still an honorable being. As sad as it is, I’m glad he got his final desire. He’s my second fav after Pip. Glad to see Captain Pip return, my fav!
I love his ending, guy had been so stoic his entire run on screen. Clearly acting as a loyal dog for the Major, then finally he dies and smiles and drifts away, like he could move on to whatever would come next with no regrets

I dont think he was exactly holding back, but he certainly gave her the information and the opening to let it happen. If he really wanted to survive, I dont think she would have had much of a chance. So it was a well fought battle, but not a desperate one.
well he did want to get killed. he let seras win, he could have easily killed her in his wolf form (he got 2 different wolf forms, even the weakest form would of been overkill already). alucard also wants to die, only difference is that he wont let himself just get killed..hes searching for an worthy opponent.

Man when he transforms is one of the coolest things in anime. Communicates absolute destruction. It's weird though that he's a werewolf. Mist and transforming into a wolf are vampire abilities. Alucard in Castlevania does that.
He took her best attack and and he just did that teleport thing. Plus when he was in wolf form, he almost one shotted her. She was never a threat to him.
I think it's possible that the Captain can stop regeneration in his full Werewolf form bc when he hit Seras she had scrapes on her face and she couldn't regenerate bc she still had them through out the hole fight.

Great AMV and nice choice of music! Just as a tip, I'd turn the sound of the actual anime off sometimes. The sound of their voices or the gun sounds were a nice addition to the music but hearing it during the whole song is a bit distracting. Aside from that, the video was great, keep it up!
i think the capitan is the only nazist i like(i cant belive i say this). he wasnt arogant or a bitch(like zorin). he fought with honor(a fair 1v1) and epicness untill the end. the other nazists can burn in hell but he was just a warior in the wrong side(from what i understod.corect me if i am wrong)
He seems to act much like a dog, just acting with loyalty to the Major and not really caring about the reasons behind what is happening. Makes him much more likeable, he isnt pursuing some evil ideology or wishing people to be hurt he's just protecting his master, so its kind of like you wouldnt be mad at a Nazi dog. Feels very forgivable, especially considering his moments of being pretty decent (giving Heinkle the med kit, pointing Integra where to go, holding back with Seras, sharing his book with Schroedinger. Little things, but going to show he's probably a decent person)
