I am shocked at what you get for your money with the Tracks... It's also very intuitive and easy to use for a beginner such as myself. What is really cool is that it even allows for me to create my own sounds using a computer. I was actually looking for videos to see if I wanted BOTH of these units.
Great video, thank you for your time making it, I was looking for a "standalone" machine, got the MPC64 really didn't like it and about to return it to the shop, I was considering the Circuit wasn't sure about Tracks vs Rhythm as I wanted to create my own drum samples tracks whilst being able to control my Keyboard workstation... You mentioned I can control external instrument with Tracks,... the question I have is; can you not do that with the Circuit Rhythm then? if not then why there is a MIDI out port? thanks
Think Rhythm midi in and out is a pass through port. There's no midi bank section in Rhythm unlike in Tracks. In tracks you can technically onboard external sounds inside the midi bank grids essentially controlling the external gear.

Phenomenal video.
I want a pro model with the combined features of both devices.
