well they actually did have eco as they had both farms and were sending enemies so not really sure what you meant there and you need to bring something like shotgunner/something with piece that can hit hiddens because if you were playing someone good they would have sent a bunch of hiddens and rushed you more at the start with speedys both increasing their eco and forcing you to get more defense as a lv 1 cowboy can not defend against that and you would need at least lv 2 or higher gpyro for hiddens which would have been sent if they were more experience at the game as lv 1 gpyro cant defend against a hidden rush and not sure if even lv 2 can and a lot of people wont bring support cuz like 9/10 time you will end the game in between round 2-8

ye its like having bloon trap though there are a lot of ways to counter cowboy at the start through sending a lot of rushes forcing them to get defense so you can get a lot of eco at the start as cowboy at cant defend "\early rushes pretty sure so you can just build up your eco through rushes not allowing them to get cowboy until later on and then when they finally have enough defense to get cowboy you can start farming and start farming
