Your garden is doing great! I struggle keeping everything alive in August and barley make it to to September, except for the peppers... then again I keep planting to tight. Thank you for sharing, your garden is an inspiration.
Sugar baby maybe next year just plant them alone . I was watching a Mexican documentary an one old lady mention her mother plant the color corn with beans . I had my corn bed surround with marigold. The sugar baby I completely fail no even a plant , I replaced with butternut squash, my grow like melons " giant " .
I grew them in a bed all alone several years ago. They did the exact same thing. I think it may be I grew them from transplants and the transplants didn't do well because roots were disturbed too much. Maybe I should direct sow them instead.
