Amazing words of wisdom for anyone not just writers
indeed!
I teared up on this episode 😢 you can feel the nostalgia as if it were your memory
aw…you can feel the nostalgia. great advice as always from Neil Gaiman. must read Good Omens soon…❤
That's...kinda beautifully put, actually.
How have I not heard this full episode?!
Sounds like what ceramic clay does to me...the intention to begin with a concept ( form ) in mind and then the other ideas that emerge as the clay takes shape. Love your work Neil and also Amanda's.❤ For the Family
Very inspirational words Neil Gaiman. Only esteemed writers like you could paint a picture as imaginative and inspiring with one’s own words, and what true magic that the mind can really do for one’s self.
Sort of a different way of looking at this, but I've read a lot of books lately that I would say are written by gardeners, but they've all planted the same seeds. I'm ready to read books by architects who are going to give me something new.
👍🏾 ✨
You will figure it out.
Architects and gardeners is the same as plotter and pantser?
... the great psychedelic Terry McKenna would be the one to learn from...
He'd rather be a groomer than a gardener or an architect
Yuck
