After your great "100 launches video", some of us asked for a similar "100 landings video". Thanks so much for hearing us, and for making and sharing with us yet another great refresher video, with the very beneficial commentary which helps us to realize what we're doing right, opportunities to tweak and maintain our skills, and to also help to realize some of the bad habits that we "might have picked up" over the years. Aviator continues to be a standout steward of the community. Thanks again!!!

Super great to hear that the efforts we put in are appreciated by the community. We plan to start off each month with a similar style review video! I would love to open up the opportunity for paramotor / paragliders from around the world to submit their launch or landing videos to us for use in the next one (my emails in the description). Thanks again for the kind words.

    Thank you Reese & Gill,
I love these two video pilot moderators , big thumbs up here! I could look forward to something like this if it became a regular event.
very impressed with the knowledge they are sharing with us today, I knew them both before they flew the coop.
back in da day, Aviator did a Live stream every week with some great guests, Eric would get pissed bc they would buzz the red barn while live just to bust his balls, lol
even did a pre show and Eric would walk in like a super star 20 mins later! changing the GoPro battery during live stream was to funny 8-)
I sent in a glitter bomb that they opened live on air before my class xmas 2019 & I myself became Family!
AJ said, "I was like a hemorrhoid, you scratch it and it would get worse",
I never did believe him, AJ was my instructor @ lake Wales, I felt very blessed, his confidence alone made me feel very grateful.
been having a blast ever since, Thank You Aviator PPG
    "Love you guys"
    Thanks for all the effort,
    Respectfully,
    nyc

My hands were in my pockets!! That landing must have been later in the session because I was a ballooning fool for the first half of my flights. Thanks for the solid training!!

Not saying anything other comments haven't already, but just like the take-offs video, I loved this.
Such a brilliant combination of entertainment and education. Big thumbs up!

Learned lots, ty. eg "Lifting a buttcheek" for an oscillating landing instead of brakes to leave more flare.

I connect with my gear. It's an entirely unique language of communication I have with each component, motor, lines, wing, windsock, environment, etc. It amazes me the feeling that everything around me adjusts it's attention to some degree on this pterodactyl soaring through the sky. I guess I graduated into weirdness on a molecular level.

Hang test before 1st flight - When chest is forward motor stays back, big gap to back of harness, is that normal? Can’t swing legs under, pushing chest forward is strained, legs are out on massive angle. Center of gravity not achieved.
The only way to stand is to swing Harness back. Can’t see it working in real situation. Unless the back leg takes up the strain to move the motor forward. This could then be too low to ground and cause a hop forward (little too low) or plop backwards (too low.) Is a hang test irrelevant to getting truely uptight to land on feet as one would on a paraglider?

I have 8 solo skydiving jumps. I stood up my very first landing which made me feel great but it kinda went downhill from there haha. I think I stood up 3 out of the 8. None of my landings were really terrible tho. I did start running one time when I was still about 10 feet in the air. It was funny. Another guy I was training with had really rough landings. A lot of them. Does having a little landing and canopy experience from skydiving help make paramotoring easier?

Please make a video on power on landings. Using power to spot land in relation to robbing flare authority in less flare rich wings like spyder and mojo

Trimmed out, the Spyder has incredible flare! But your request is noted :)

@@aviator it does. But for normal landing I usually have one in or neutral. Just want to be able to power into my desired spot and still slow enough to land on my feet in near nil wind. I believe it’s something with the pendulum effect but still learning! Hope to see you guys share something on this! Thanks for taking feedback
