Bro I finally dropped a solid run for shadowplay i put on my channel. I was in my COWARD mode tho cuz once i realized it could near 880 i wanted to be safe so i did the full latch-on at the green rotators rather than the skip you do around 4:11 like I always do. Now that I got that tho I can focus on just attempting all skips every round ig. Thank you for the vid I used to learn. Zach seems unstoppable though.. i think I would level out at like 887 or sumn if I had more weeks. Dude is insane.
Thanks!! Yah the red doors at around 1:15 and the plane wing strafe jump at 3:31 were both the biggest run killers that I was experiencing. The plane one was what I spent the most time practicing for sure
I dropped a 878 finally, The plane strafe was my issue also. Ended up needing to change my default button layout so I swapped my jump/mantle button at "A" and swapped it to 'Right trigger" SO i can now keep thumb on right stick while jumping with right trigger, I use xbox series x controller on my PC, Then I would just practice until I finally hit it 3 times in a row just strafing back to the wing and then straight to the block for like 20 minutes of in game time. I hit it first try prolly 55% of the time I get there on runs now. I guess I was also csgo surf / bhop brain and thinking I could sort of strafe around the fuselage. In reality u just quickly line it up @ a direct narrow angle and jump last second making sure tac sprint is on of course and then spam mantle towards it.
@@Corinthians6 Great score, there are two ways I get that jump. Sometimes I mantle on the far right side of the block, usually a longer slower mantle and other time I quick mantle on the close left side of the block for a few seconds quicker. Impressive score fs nice one
@@m4iled ye I feel like hitting it left on the inside is usually quicker + quicker mantle but the trade-off must be u have to hit it at a tighter more direct angle that could maybe put you at risk of bumping plane border.. but at the same time going for the right / outside you might not go inward enough and just not hit the angle directly enough and fly too far from it. Def tricky
This run is pretty old, and at the time I was working on a theory that hitting checkpoint 1 dictated when certain other platforms would move. This theory was incorrect tho, and you can see in my latest video I don't wait any more.
WORLD RECORD! I've been straight up GRINDING this game mode, it was active last Thursday for 24 hours, and then active over the weekend until today at 7:20pm eastern. I tried to share tips with anyone I saw streaming the mode, there were some true rockstars out there. I actually did the run above on Sunday. I had other runs that were better for 99% of the time, it's just that last obstacle that routinely broke my runs. I think I ended with seven attempts this afternoon that were in the 874ish range, but were ahead of pace until that final obstacle. What a wild ride

Nice run dude, My last run I got 880 POINTS
Hell yah dude! My current PB is also 880, but @ZachTantalum has already uploaded an 889. I believe 895 is possible!
Super impressive run! That strafe jump from the wing of the plane is deceptively hard! I couldn't manage to get it while the mode was live

Well done! My pr is 863, can’t hit that plane strafe consistently. Very nice run. I’d love for them to add a leaderboard.
863 is super solid! I agree, a leaderboard would have been great

@@Corinthians6 Nice!!! My current PB is 895, but I'm hoping to get a 896 to upload for an untied WR
Insane run!
Insane dude, nice 🎉
LETS GO BABY!!!!
Could you explain why you waited at 0:40?

Havent quite got strafe jumping down with controller but I've hit 805 without any strafe skips
World record!!!
