I see you've finally managed to sort out little cover of the Hedwig's Theme. The sound feels smooth , and with the song choise's I couldn't agree more.Great video! I might suggest if there will be a part 2 , you could pick ''Time'' by Hans Zimmer. Great job James! :)
@@JamesBartholomewMusic Contemporary pop songs seem to do the trick. Consider Peter Bence for example (though this is not a direct comparison since he is a pianist). With your superperb guitar skills, I think many would be interested to hear your take on some contemporary songs. P.S. I am a huge fan of your skills!!!
because the share buttons is just too much for others to share it share this kind of talents that will inspire more individual like me. lets do a little effort by sharing . because for he share his talents for free.
Thanks! Glad people like it and don't think its too clickbaity haha. I'm gonna start introducing some different types of videos over the coming months, if you like this I think you will really like the next one I have planned 🙏🏼
It may because your action (string height) is quite high. I play fairly quietly so I can get away with a low action without buzzing, which also lets you hit the strings lighter for percussive slaps 👍🏼
James Bartholomew hi james, massive thanks for your reply. And also appreciate for all the input on this and hope to learn. Really love your arrangements, its so chill and peaceful. Have a wonderful week ahead James. Cheers
how much does "You got a friend in me" sound like its a Clapton original when arranged on guitar lol, Newman did it well, you brought it to life even more, kudos James!
These are songs that sound relatively easy, but they way you play them with the walking bass and just keeping it moving in that way, you really take it up a notch. I also would like to add what an incredible guitarist you are - you always play so calmly and with such ease. which is a whole other skill in itself, keep it up!
@@JamesBartholomewMusic Oh, that's interesting! I once tried ORTF, it sounded pretty good, but anyways prefer XY. But I think I'll try ORTF again, it really sounds amazing in your hands:)
It was initially planned for this but I felt the main theme didn’t work too well on guitar! I’ll try again but perhaps something like the Force Theme might come instead 🙂
Specially Your Playing is very Calm down musics. Also I suggest to Cover "Yimura-River Flows In You" For You.... Please I want that from you???😍😌😊😌😊😌😊😌😊😊😌😌😊😌😊😌😊😌😊😌😊😊😌
Been learning the Toy Story cover for the past week now and the arrangement is absolutely incredible. Did you transcribe it directly from the original piano piece? I just can't get my head around how you write it so accurately and beautifully. My fingers are absolutely everywhere! Took me 5/6 hours just to nail the first few bars alone and that's me learning it from the pre-arranged tab! How you arrange it so well and accurately is beyond me. It's an absolute masterpiece, I gotta say!
Beautiful sounds, James!
Thanks, Guus!

RESPECT
It is all fun until I see the amount of viewer and likes. He definitely deserves more. 😢
Its just been an hour.. but still u r right in a way.... most of the musicians in youtube have less subscribers and viewers
My videos have always been slow burners rather than getting lots of views on day one, though I'm working on finding what people engage with most 👍🏼

Beautiful guitar 😍
It is absolutely amazing. All you need to do is go to any public place (after lockdown) and play this, O the crowd
2:31 You’ve got a friend in me
James why is it that your thumb slap is so effortless yet makes a remarkable sound. I have to slap it hard to make it sound like a slap fingerstyle

Good choice, I did cover that when the live action came out but I'd like to revisit it and make a better version 👌🏼

I can certainly say the tempo of He's a Pirate made a couple of chord changes in particular hellishly difficult 😅 Thanks man!
I think „Let it go“ from Frozen is also one of the most iconic movie songs. And I really like your version of he‘s a pirate.
Good shout, that one didn't even cross my mind!
James you are the best man ❤️lots of love from India

Un poco más y la haces hablar a la guitarra master!👍👏👏👏👏

Wow, I like your sound so much, James! Did you use km 184 for this video?
Thanks! Yep, a pair of KM184s positioned angled outward from each other (like ORTF, but not ORTF)
