(Sorry for long comment) I saw a video recently where they swapped the lyrics of silly Billy’s song so he talks about gyatt’s and stuff like that and the comments section was either people saying that silly billy is cringe and that they were confused about why horror stuff is so popular and the other half was people that were clearly kids. Honestly if people want to remix a song that’s fine but i feel like if it’s pretty much a tribute song then it shouldn’t be turned into a joke really. That’s why I really wish the mod had a disclaimer or something at the start to tell people why the mod exists because it’s actually really annoying how everyone is having to share the information through UA-cam comments just to possibly be ignored by the people that don’t bother reading longer comments.
I understand! But we honestly didn’t say much of anything during the segments I cut lmao. I tried to only cut out parts where we were completely quiet, talking over each other, or having conversations that were uninteresting or unrelated to the mod (like us talking about Kendrick v. Drake for almost 2 minutes straight :P)
The more from silly billy actually goes deep. The lyrics are directed toward 2 people The mirror Boyfriend’s GF who died and her soul is still clinging to him (you can see her holding him as a red spirit at 3:30 if you pause when clicking the time stamp)and he wants her to stay awake just long enough for him to make her proud And this was also directed toward the creator’s passed away friend who originally came up with this mod and never finished it. He wanted to make him proud with this masterpiece

Same reason why mascot horror is so big right now: the primary demographic for FNF is teens young enough to be attached to the cartoony but edgy visual style, but old enough to think making it "scarier" would be an improvement.
