The last year, as a GUEST, nearly all my HOSTS have tried to take the conversation off platform. My last host even complained in his review how "inconvenient" this was for him that I insisted on communicating on the Airbnb platform. Please keep educating hosts about this!!!!!
What about the dishonest hosts, like charging for damages not caused by guest, 5 star reviews by friends and family, changes in furniture from posted photos, not informing guests about massive facade renovation outside the rental’s windows. These are all experiences I have had over 25 rentals. Dishonesty runs both ways.
