Hi Aimee! So I was watching the Mudcreek Stitcher and she was going through her Blackbirds and oh boy, I want to start them all now : ) Ha! Happy finish dance when you get there!
Oh friend, thank you! I am really enjoying that stitch. It's so hard to put it down : ) I also thoroughly enjoyed the video you and Darlene did together. That was so fun to watch, as are each of yours separately, but it's fun when friends can get together!
Hi Amy, I’ve been watching you but on the television so haven’t commented. Been enjoying your flip throughs and your progress on your stitching. Glad you’re having nice weather. I’ve been trying to stay cool here in south Louisiana.
Hi friend!! I have missed you! Glad you are well! : ) I bet y'all are pretty warm too! This year has not been a normal weather year. I remember some that have been like it, but it's been a while. What have you been working on lately?
@@RenewingStitches Hi, we finally got some rain so it cools us down some. I’ve worked exclusively on Daisy Chain by Carolyn Manning. It was my Tour de France piece so worked on it every day. I finished with the required 3500 stitches. Yay! Now it’s the Olympics. I think two different groups are doing an event so I know I’ll do one of them. See you on flosstube!
on shores of hawk run hallow ... I think the middle block is my fav. I just love big ships. I think the jute would look nice on that block pillow. Love the card!
I always enjoy your videos, Amy. While watching you tonight I was making cording for little kits for the cross stitch event that my friend and I are putting on in October. I find that I love making cording!
Thank you friend : ) And you are right, cording is fun to make- I've done it a couple of times with my in person friends and it was so interesting and delightful to make with so many options and ideas. I would like to live closer to you and take advantage of the events you and your friends put on. It seems like y'all put a lot of thought into these, so lovely.
I like the idea of jute for the Hrh pillow. I’d have to look at the square but wonder if the small could be tied in a small sailor knot. Good to see what you’ve been working on! 🏖
Thank you Cynthia! I'm still pretty behind as well. Never a loss for something to watch while stitching. I hope you have a relaxing and refreshing time with your daughter and fam! Looking forward to stitching with you during your next one. Thank you for spending time with me, friend!
Hey sweet lady!! You are making really good progress on your WIPS! Adjust your schedule as you need to. We will still be here waiting!! Have a great week
Thank you : ) It'll just be through August, then back to weekly. Come to think of it, it might happen again next summer as well and the following, since my boys will be graduating in back to back years. But that's later, can't rush ahead. Hope you have a great week too, friend!
Hi Amy, the Hawk Runs are stitch intense! I like your idea of adding the jute. It will be fun playing with it to see how you like it. Band samplers are so fun and the blue you chose is very pretty. Almost a finish on the deer - I don't recall the name. So close! Thank you for giving me such a sweet mention! I need to record another video this week. I've been stitching the April block of Carolyn Manning's Crazy Quilting in Cross Stich all Year Long.
Hi Wendy! It'll definitely take some playing around with the jute for that pillow, but I still have the entirety of the bottom to stitch. Hopefully it won't take too, too long-ha! I enjoy really enjoy your videos as well and look forward to the next one, but no pressure : ) Have a lovely week, friend!
Hi Amy, you are progressing quickly with your WIPS! They are all lovely. Enjoy your summer and let your plans be fluid. Happy Stitching! - Valerie
Thank you Valerie! I hope your summer is going well too!
Always fun to see what you have stitched…I put stitches into my Stained Glass Owl as I watched. 🦉🪡🧵🔆
Thank you friend : ) I can't wait to see your progress!
Good seeing you again. Keep up the nice stitching. Trying to finish a blackbird here.
