If you ever come to the US for a non-Disney trip one day, check out the "Dollar Tree" store. They sell the Nivea, but slightly smaller jars, for a dollar each. You could take home a whole suitcase full of them. I think, since you're so fair skinned, that you can go with a slightly darker lip liner and tint if you don't always want to wear a pinkish tone. :)
Hi Rhi. Thanks for taking us along. I always use the Boots kids once sultan for my boys. Discovered the spray one a year or so ago and much prefer it to the lotion/cream version. It goes onto the skin and sinks in quicker l find, so takes less time to put on. Win/win for me and the boys. With the cream l felt like l was rubbing it in for longer and left a white sheen on the skin. Just a suggestion please - would you mind showing us your nails after you get a new manicure. They always look so lovely and l find myself following your hands around the screen to get a better look :) xx
Generally kids sun screen is made with chemicals that reflect the sun off the skin and adult sunscreen has chemicals that absorb the sun to protect the skin. The one that reflects the sun is actually better for your skin. Plus make sure you have UVA and UVB protection in the sun screen as both rays are dangerous ( some sunscreens only protect against one type of Sun rays)
I've always heard that children's sun cream isn't as sticky & absorbs quicker however having put this into practice I personally see no difference weather I'm using sun cream marketed to children or normal sun cream it's all the same & everybody still complains about it 😅 (rightly so I personally hate how it feels 🤣)
I use the thick stuff in the bottle on my toddler, I found it difficult to actually use everything in the bottle it's so thick it won't come out.. however, i really trust it will stay in place, I can still see/feel it on ber skin after a full day
Hi rhi..enjoyed your boots vlog..haven't tried soltan before only nivea..there's that much make up to choose from.i just get use to a certain one then they stop doing it...have a lovely weekend xx 👍 💕🌞
When it comes to suncream for the children, I do go for the spray bottles and they it is usually the soltan variety. I have been wondering about getting the lotion because in my head I imagine it does a better job because it’s thicker?! That said, I can imagine it’s more messy! Please do feed back with your thoughts on the cream vs spray sun creams! I understand where your coming from with the tightness in your skin. I get this after washing my face but I can’t use a thick face cream as I have oily skin and these make me break out 🤦🏼♀️ I have to say that the Nivea body lotion is one of my favourites for the rest of my body because it’s so thick, it actually feels like it’s doing a good job of moisturising my skin! Great shop and haul, thanks for sharing x
Hi rhi love the colour of the cheek and lip tint it really suits you i know what you mean by your skin feels tite and flaking when you get out the shower as I have the same problem as I suffer exzma and general dry skin myself
If you've ever shopped on "Beauty Bay" "MUA" do a really good and VERY pigmented liquid blush which is less than a fiver and has a load of shades, from baby pink to a plummy colour. It may say 'blush' but I've never encountered a "liquid" blush that doesn't work on the lips too. Lipsticks also work in a pinch which is great for liquid restrictions going throuh airports or for saving space in a handbag. There's a top Professional Make Up Artist called Scott Barnes (best known for his work with Jennifer Lopez)and he says that you can use anything anywhere as a blush is the same formula as an eyeshadow, a cream lipstick is the same kind of formula as a cream blush etc, its just the amount of pigmentation that differs. I've seen him use lipsticks as contour, eyeshadow as highlighter, eyeliner as lipliner and such so if you ever see a shade of lipstick and think "that would look nice as blush" don't be put off by what it says on the packaging. I regularly used liquid lipstick as a blush when masks were a thing as it lasted longer than cream blushes under the masks and didn't stain lighter materials. I just made sure to use hand sanitizer on my fingertips after application to avoid pink fingertips all day.
