- What a 2024 Topps Update Hobby Box Break! This thing had a little bit of everything in it, from a great rookie relic to a rookie auto to an SP of an awesome rookie that's not even from this sport! This is one of my best hobby box breaks ever!
There are some great rookies in this 2024 Topps Update Hobby Box set, including: Jackson Chourio, Jackson Holliday, Jackson Merrill, Paul Skenes, Wyatt Langford, Jared Jones, Colt Keith and many more! Plus, there are rookie debut cards from previous rookies from Topps Series 1 and Topps Series 2, like Elly De La Cruz, Junior Caminero and more!
This is a really nice list of rookie cards, full of players with tons of power and speed, which most sports card collectors love!

I wish that you could briefly describe what a gold card means, what a sparkly card means, etc. 😊
A Topps Gold card is numbered to the year it’s produced. So a Topps Gold card from 2018 is numbered to just 2018 produced. As more and more cards are produced each year, much higher than in 2018, the gold cards are still numbered to the year (2024), but they are more rare to pull because there are more boxes and packs produced. The sparkly one, I forget what that parallel is called, but it’s just a different numbered parallel.

I do, let me know if there are any you’d like to buy. If I get a really cool RC or auto, I might prefer to hang onto that. So far, that patch RC of Jackson Merrill is the best card I own of him, so I might just hold onto that one. Until I get a better card of his at least.
First thing is I think you need a bigger table. That was a great box. I would have been very happy if that was my box.

Got an 89 black Jacob Young auto and Ellie Silver Pack as the 2 biggest highlights.
Hit all the top rcs except the Skenes but did get his debut and allstar so not going to complain.
Apparently the First pitch blue which is long odds but sorry a music producers card doesn’t excite me
Overall not too terrible got an auto expected the usual mem card

If you ask me the International combo cards in Bowman Chrome this year are the only great combo cards this year. Venezuela, Dominican, Cuba, etc.
Nice, I'll have to check those out! I can't think of what they look like off the top of my head. We just got a Bowman Chrome mega box we're about to rip, so hopefully there are some in there!
