Your advice today comes at just the right time for an issue that has been raised and for which I find that I must make a decision similar to your Yoga teacher. I have Mars in the 12th house and Aries is over my 8th house and my NN in Aries. It’s been a spiritual war, seemingly with men coming against me in the spirit realm. Not to mention I have a stellium in the first house. I’m a medicine women in this lifetime and let me tell you, it’s been painful for sure.
wow! you certainly gave me another way to see my Mars in Aries conjunct my Mercury...and boy, i sure have had my share of being blamed for verbal assaults that i am only aware of after i have spoken. (because i always speak my truth and many just cannot handle it)

Ildiko Mester I had my problems with men & women, at times. However, that conjunction is part of a grand trine with pluto & Jupiter...so I have survived so far.
+Peter w. Pyle Is your Mercury in Cancer or Capricorn? Having the Moon/Mars aspect in trine to Jupiter & Pluto must be a saving grace then. Besides, having that conjunction in the 8th can help much with intuition/insight-fullness don't you think?
Ildiko Mester Mercury in Cancer in the 11th. There are several indications in my natal chart that suggest psi abilities....healing/empathic/ strong intuition.
I am an Aries rising, with my moon conjunct ascendant and Mars in Leo. I most certainly would be at complete ease on a battlefield..just like the one in the battle scene in Twilight ( Breaking Dawn) ..LOL. I am joking, but I am also serious. I have the urge to defend those who cannot defend themselves. On the other hand, I am always on “attack and fire” position. And now, at this point of my life I know I have to find a way to channel this kind of “battle” energy, I need to put it at work in some sports or some physical activity. It is an urge.
