dr Amanda, do you think one day Big4 dominance will be over? honestly, mid tier firms ,in term of competence they are not far apart, and many ex-big4 employee went to mid tiers too
Hey Dede - oooh this is such a good question! Regulators are already attempting to split the big 4 up (again) - but even a Big 4 audit firm I think has so much momentum that unless they do something terribly unethical - they're likely to stick around.
Tough - because they are investing big into technology - it will be interesting to see what the mid tier firms do and how audit tech companies like CaseWare evolve to keep the mid tier technologically competitive.

Hi - the best guide for this is in the new IAESB Code of Ethics. Part 4A actually gives you lots of examples and safeguards ☺️

Hi Mohamed - external audit mostly, though the practical principles can be applied to internal.

The Audit Strategy is the overall strategy for the audit. The audit plan/program is how you are going to audit a specific transaction cycle.

Hi! The principles of audit are the same - but the USA has its own standards that are sort of internationally aligned, but not ISA compliant.
