Angel Wing usually defaults to casting the weakest spell in Rinoa's inventory. So you can actually get away with keeping Ultima in her spell list for better junctioning.

And thats why the "Rinoa is Ultimecia" theory would not work, she would nuke everything and then throw her dog at everybody who would survive. No time compression required :D
You dont seem to know much about ultimecias motives. She wanted to compress time to s single point to undo an event in the past thats why she frequents the past through edea and other socceresses
Just be aware that Angel Wing fails if you use it after gaining invincibility with a Hero/Holy War/Invincible Moon. So cast the Limit Break before you give her invincibility. Once you do, you've got yourself an unkillable goddess of death. I did this with with Squall's Renzokuken/Lion Heart and Irvine's Fast Ammo/Pulse Ammo and Omega Weapon rolled over without much stress.

The best way to use her Angel Wing Limit Break is with auto-haste and fully perfectly max 255 stats. Under nearly all circumstances Angelo will be the better Limit especially if you have taught it only Wishing Star and Invisible Moon and maybe Angelo Search for farming.
it's great in general because then u can put Meteor on Strength instead of Mag and you can have her be a physical beast against lesser foes, especially if you don't want to play with low health reroll cheese.
I did a similar junction to beat omega and then ultimicea... rinoa was last one standing with 1hp in final form... as ultimicea time calls dead zell out of the party and squall appears from a time warp magically in front of her.... as she casts her last meteor wing and destroys ultimicea's final form. With just her and squall alive and next to each other until forever the end of time.... loved how that ending went.... no toggles, old school way with your epic esrly op guide and good ol junctions..... finished without leveling up once. At base levels for all characters... have all gf's and all magic spells at 100..... this was a great great walk down memory lane.... really looking forward to the 9 remake!... woooooo
I love this game but to murder anything in it you just need Lionheart some aura spells and maybe some heros or holywars modded from Laguna or Gilgamesh cards.

I literally bitched and whined until I finally this year got my fiance to afford us a ps4, have a fit over this game because it's my childhood game of games I mean the absolute first one I loved, finally get it, and all they have done is add Boko and ONLY remastered the characters haha. Still love it. Still money worth spent.

That's because in terms of the limit this magics are considered offensive spells, because normally you don't scan your allies or dispel your beneficial statuses
Chris Wakelam I don’t think it works that way. It’s basically a berserk magic buff. If it did, it would be a hell of a lot more viable. You’re more likely just better off to triple and auto-haste Meteor or just attack with regular attacks which may actually be quicker.
Yes but does it work on enemies using reflect? And what are the best ways to Max out those spells? I currently have no Aura and have not yet found meteor and I'm near disc 4.
The islands closer to heaven and hell have meteor draw points. Just turn on enc-none. And yes I know you've probably already figured this out or beat the game.
Blake Curry Even at perfect 255 stats Rinoa not going to do more than a few thousand damage with Angel Wing: Meteor. I’m pretty sure Wishing Star hits quite a bit harder and more a lot more hits. Angel Wing is honestly more for novelty than actual viable use in the game.
@@rock85cool Not atall, Wishing start hits 8 times, asuming you hit for 9999 every hit thats 79,992 damage. meanwhile Meteor in Angel Wing is 10 hits for about 7200 damage which is 72,000 damage so only a fraction less damage except angel wing spams it like crazy every turn, while wishing star is VERY rare, and theres a high chance you'll waste your turn with Angelo cannon. Most people don't even learn wishing star becasue Invincable moon is simply better, and wishing star lowers the chances of getting it. (Same with Angelo strike, just don't learn it, ever.)

The speed ability is 100% cheating. It may not change the actual game, and it may be convenient for a walk-through, but it makes grinding way easier. I have heard people say grinding to 60 with Seifer in Dollet takes about 1.5 hrs.. Without speed mod, it takes like 4 hours. Which one is easier? I could provide several examples, but only one is needed.
I hate to admit, I'm in agreement with you. I'm on disc 3 of the remaster (bought 3 days ago), and although I've had a great time blasting through grinds and card mods that I never ever had the patience for before, it cheapens the game as a whole. It puts you on edge rushing through everything. That said, there's a reason I never got 100 curse spikes in disc 2 in year 200x. The game engine (menus, fades, loading, cutscenes) plays out verrry slowly, even before today's standards.

Yep, the raw damage of Lionheart is tops. The drawback with Lionheart though is just how unpredicatable it can be in even showing up. One of the great things about Meteor Wing (an unofficial name) is that it is extremely consistant.

I always give her Siren. To me Siren is basically the mage's GF. She already has Mag Bonus, Magic +%s, and Status defenses. So I use Amnesia Greens and scrolls to teach Siren stat junctioning.

I think the double or triple get cancelled when that one limit break starts.
no it won't work that way because when you cast triple on somebody you have to choose the triple option every time you cast a spell it's not automatic

some spells are non reflectable, usually its all the AoE type, such as Tornado, Quake and Meteor.
That would have made Omega that much easier! Oh well I got lucky and got Lionheart to pop up 3 times so I managed to best him just fine.
