I have just about finished a $500 challenge on social security I need $32 more.. I set a goal of $500 for the year, but once I finish that I’ll start saving for Christmas for my grandchildren I have a set budget for them
This is a yearly goal I set for myself I saved $514 last year and it’s still in the high yield acct with almost another $500 this is how I built my emergency fund.. …I think for alot of low income they want to be like others not realizing low income means different for different families.. you may have some low income on a 10k yearly income and you can also have some one low income making over the federal poverty level on social security but we are still
Classified as low income .. there is a difference.. but we can save something.. I saved coins for years and once a year it stocked the deep freezer for winter for me and my children.. ..my kids are 37 and 29 but mama has cerebral palsy….and every December my son will come and take him a pack of hamburger from my freezer for his house.. he loves hamburgers…. It’s something about having a part of his mama…. And he has a good job.. so it’s the little things that keep me encouraged I know that hamburger needs to be in place ..
