Junkyard Mustang gets new life and Shakes the building!

- Our good Buddy Cotterpin and his wife Junk yard Jenny found this mustang shell in the junkyard after crashing there old car. They spent the winter building a chassis and getting things set up for the new race season. After an outing at the track where they put fluid down they decided to use the dyno to make some pulls and check things out and from there we just had a good time. So grab a cold Coca Cola out of the fridge sit back and listen up while we shake your tv or smart phone device .

EXACTLY!! I am a American muscle guy through and through but I'm a horsepower fan first and foremost. If you built it, I respect it regardless of the wrappings.

That was a great explanation of how back pressure can "clog" the flow of a turbo. Awesome on how you compared it to using a funnel. Using car terms to explain car terms.
@Joe Izawsome you still need backpressure to get the right velocity, but the volume does need to get higher
Tiqo pre turbo yes, after the turbo you just want to get rid of any pressure. Ideally you could “tune” the size of the the exhaust to make it scavenge itself but that’s a lot of work calculating and testing for a minor increase in power.

A lot of hardcore Ford fan's would not be to happy about the LS but at the end of the day you can't argue about it its a tried and true recipe for big reliable power at a low cost its just all business reliable and consistent package. The LS just loves boost as much a JZ or Barra or a 13b. Parts for lS platforms are available everywhere cheap no matter what your trying to do the aftermarket is huge N.A supercharged, Turbocharged, Nitrous its all there. If the uk had vehicles with LS engines I think everybody would use them just the same as in the US. Fantastic build great video cheers guys!.

Yeah it's a heads up 1/8th mile series; there are a couple classes in it ranging from 3500lb cars on 235s to full on Chassis cars on 10.5s.

The turbo being installed in the front helps pull the car down the track as it sucks in fresh air, as well as the exhaust keeping the car away from walls and going straight down the track!! Love the Wrap!!
Custom built race cars no matter the car or power train are badass , love watching you guys everyday guys doing badass stuff.

I just would NEVER fake “Patina” on any car regardless if it was “rescued” at some point. So many sick more original ideas that could be done. badass setup. if I may suggest, remove the Y going to the single wastegate and add 2 wastegates. locate wastegates on the outside of the radius of the bend. your back pressure and over boost problem solved.

Brent is beyond a genius when it comes to tuning. Trust me I don't get any kick backs but I have a friend that lives out in Co. and will swear on it that he's the best out there. Brents better than a lot of tuners I know or know of and I know 5 or so hot shot tuners.
