hey, i’m joining sussex this september and i can’t decide wether to go for the en-suite accommodation or go for shared bathrooms to save money, how have you found sharing?
Hey Nevin - I wanted en-suite originally and was set on going with east slope or Northfield. After finding out my student loan could cover only the cheapest accommodation I had to pick Norwich House. I was disappointed when I realised I had to share the bathroom with others, but looking back, I’m SO glad I had to go with Norwich. You get used to the sharing with others and you save so much money. Not only that, but this house is unique in that it is so social and you end up making many friends. (Also great location and basically in the center of campus). Save your money and go shared, in my opinion:)

do boys and girls had to share bathrooms or both have different bathrooms as I am not comfortable to share with girls. Please tell me it's our responsibility to clean the bathroom or university management as I am still confused to go with suite or share option because clean bathroom is top priority of mine.
I lived in Norwich house in 2020 !!! Fairly sure my friend lived in the same room as you :,))) so many memories omg
