      Not really. Coups are never beneficial for the people. Zimbabwe is losing one monster and replacing it with a new one.

      Here's what happens next. Here comes the new boss, same as the old boss. The take over is already ingrained in lies about the coup, and it's just started.

      Zog26 I agree, the military defense force is doing the right thing/ it's job making sure their country is safe and cleansed from internal domestic threats which distabalizes it, this is not a coup.

      Paul Ebai bro he's not khazarian Marcos was from Philippines.the guy above is talkin about how similar it is to their situation during that time and trust me as an african asians are not our enemies.

    • @rosiramirez5437
      @rosiramirez5437 7 років тому +1

      @KRAKENN PRODUCTIONS. Marcos was a dictator, but he stepped aside when the people revolted. Even if he was corrupt, he still managed to build the Bataan Nuclear Power Plant, the San Juanico Bridge, the Philippine State College of Aeronautics, the Cultural Center of the Philippines, the Philippine Heart Center, the Lung Center of the Philippines, and the Manila Light Rail Transit System. He also did not take revenge or drive out the peoples who previously occupied the Philippines, like the Japanese, the Americans, and the Spanish. Marcos was certainly not a saint, but he also should not be compared to Mugabe. There's really no comparison, except for the fact that they governed for a long time. Not all the money Marcos spent was for himself or for his family; a lot of it also went to public projects that actually benefited Filipinos.

    We Africans from all over the world are watching. We don't care whoever rules Zimbabwe as long as he is not a stooge of Britain or America. If that ever happens like it did in Libya, then Zimbabweans must rest assured that they would not, and I repeat, not be alone in that country.

    • @katarinasmith4351
      @katarinasmith4351 7 років тому +1

      You don't care who rules as long as he's not a stooge of britain or america? Funny, because so many zimbos would probably go to those countries in a heartbeat if they were given a chance, lol! Yeah, let's have someone like mugabe in there instead- he was/is SO much better! Yeah, let the suffering continue.

    many parts of africa and in fact, at least a third of the world is not ready for western style democracy. this is something that manifested in the arab spring. that said, as an asian, i strongly propose that we let things pan out as they will, while allowing the citizenry figure out what's best, through knowledge and education. of course, this is a dilemma, given that many states control the syllabus. People might be inclined to blame the europeans but this culture of blaming the past needs to stop. Zimbabwe's been independent for 37 years. Many small countries have turned things around since then, mine included. We have a mix-match system that has worked thus far and may bring us into the next century. what needs to stop is agenda pushing and dynastic aspirations. I hope Zimbabwe can turn things around soon and i hope a rising SA will help them along. The possibilities are endless but imagine a Kenya-Tanzania-SA-Zimbabwe-Lesotho-Uganda political entity. These countries have gone through alot the past 30 years but it is exactly what should/could inspire a new hope.

    • @luichen115
      @luichen115 7 років тому +1

      I am also asian but i disagree on some parts, Ghana for example is a bacon of poltical transperency and democracy and their sytem is not based on a Western style democracy but based on their own civilazation with of course elements of modern democracy wich doesnt have to be linked to western style.

    I hope everything works out for my fellow African brothers and sisters in Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 through peaceful public discourse. After all, the sole reason for leadership is to serve the citizens of said constituency... Somaliland stands with the people of Zimbabwe.
    In other news, On Monday November 13th, 2017 the people of Somaliland in the Horn of Africa went to the polls to elect their Fifth President since 1991 when Somaliland decided to divorce from its voluntary union with Somalia in 1960 due to the overthrowing of General Siad Barre’s dictatorship.
    In addition, on Monday November 13th, 2017 Somaliland became the first country in NOT only AFRICA but the entire WORLD that employed Advanced Iris-Scanning Technology to identify voters and prevent duplicate ballots. This new biometric system was developed at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana and accompanied by 60 election observers from 27 countries.
    Believe it or not, Somaliland is not even recognized as a country! What an irony.

You're the laughing stock of Africa! You allow this oldan to lead when it is clear that he is incapable. Africa is not a kingdom to have a king. It's a continent. After 37 years of Mugabe rule and his ruinous policies for all citizens of Zimbabwe, this action, though not democratic, was necessary now, before Queen Grace took her throne and performed any more purging to consolidate power for another two decades of authoritarian rule. I believe even Bishop Muzorewa would support the military move at this point. I hope conditions improve for Zimbabwe.

    The Army is diligently searching for Mugabe and his associates...money, diamonds, gold, assets, offshore accounts etc.
    A predicted wage increase with back pay for the Army and their dependants is expected in the near future.

    how does the army end up acting like police officers?? yet the forgot that they have there own skeleton in the closet !!! the army is power hungry and very dangerous. let's not forget the Marange diamond fields massacre (the military killed people because of greed)

    Every African country has it's peculiar problems. Zimbabwe, like South Africa, has it's unique legacy of white minority rule & it's inherited problems that are more pronounced.

    Rhodesia brings prosperity, Zimbabwe brings regression.
    Yet, the blacks chose the latter.
    And now they should bear the consequence.

      My friend Rhodesia was a colony then under the UK, remove the economic sanctions that UK and USA imposed on Zimbabwe and you will see prosperity and brightness. the western world hates seeing other countries prosper and win no wonder the USA is heavily sanctioning North Korea because the Koreans and Chinese are beating the western world at their game

    Have to totally agree with the men in uniform. Mugabe and his family cannot be Lord's of Zimbabwe for eternity. But they must conduct elections ASAP and make a constitution to prevent such elongated dictatorships.
