- Today, we're heading to Traverse City, MI, as we make our way to the Great Wolf Lodge. Settled in 1857, Traverse City is a stunning and lively northern Michigan town, perfect for a family vacation any time of the year. We'll explore The Front Street District, Cherry Republic, and the beautiful Lake Michigan. Traverse City is "The Cherry Capital of the World," which is known for hosting the National Cherry Festival. Stay tuned until the end for a very special, weird, and wacky stop that is Cherry related. For now, join us as we take a walking tour of this amazing and cozy town!

I agree, and I was surprised the weather cooperated. It wasn't until we got to Great Wolf Lodge did it start pouring. maybe that is why it wasn't as busy as I was expecting.

That was such a fun time when we went with you guys. Cherry Republic is a must every time we go back. Make sure to try the Chocolate covered cherries. It is life changing.

Can't believe I have been making videos for over 10 years on UA-cam. But every week it has only been 5. I think the first 5 years I had a total of 40 subscribers. It's a great stop especially if you are headed to Mackinac Island.
That brings back some memories. That was a great trip when I joined you ten years ago. However, the pub cycle is something new. I agree with Melissa. Traverse City is a great place to chill.

Cherry picking is something we have not done yet so we'll have to do that one of these years. I found that song and I was like it is so cheesy - I have to put it in. Glad you were amused by it. Still jealous you made it to the World's Largest Pistachio.

This is such a cute town. I think I finally finished all our different cherry products. My favorite one was chocolate covered cherries.

That looks like our kind of hangout as a family. St. Joseph seems similar and we loved walking around there. I usually love cherry flavored stuff. Haha I wasn't sure what the younger Addison said! Michigan is such a beautiful State that we need to go to more. I was surprised how it wasn't too busy considering it was Memorial Day. I bet it is super busy for that Cherry Festival.

I lived in TC for 25 years. Moved to Arizona but we are planning on moving back. I use to work at cherry Republic
Oh wow. My brother moved to AZ and said it is so hot right now. So he is vacation here in IL in a few weeks. Traverse City is such a pretty place. Cherry Republic is amazing and we always stop there.

Yea, I post the video I feel like and I'm so bad at doing a series. So this won't be the first or the last. I have like 20 videos to edit still so Rosalie and Addison might magically get younger in future videos. We love Great Wolf, they do such a good job with the little ones. I have added over 40,000 miles in 1 1/2 years. Riding it till the wheel falls off. We just got back from Pigeon Forge, TN. Hope you are having a great summer so far.
You need to get a pie at Grand Traverse pie company. Also Marys kitchen port best place for lunch to go.

I did not see Cherry Pizza - I would have tried it. But I swear they had everything else Cherry. And surprisingly, Chocolate covered Cherries are really good.
